Good day, actors!

We have 10 slots left in our Workshop to Stage program open for actors of all experience levels! I designed this program for aspiring actors who want to explore a career in acting. This is also great for active actors to explore roles outside of their usual casting.

Rehearsals are set on weekends Aug 30, 31, Sep 6, 7, 13, 14 with shows on Sep 20 & 21 so that those of you in school or with weekday work obligations can pursue this work in your free time!

Registration is still ongoing on https://bit.ly/wtsprogram :) The fee is 14k for the entire program inclusive of mentored rehearsals, professional headshots, photo and video documentation of rehearsals and shows, 4 public shows, and lunch for all working days. We accept up to 3 installments for the program fee. Feel free to DM if you have any questions!

My first in-person actors' workshop is now open for registration :) Sessions will be on Saturdays and Sundays, so those of you interested, with weekday jobs or school, can still make time to play. You can register now on https://bit.ly/wtsprogram - all the details are on the form as well as the FAQ's. I hope to see familiar and new faces!

SURVIVING A CREATIVE MIND: NAVIGATING MENTAL HEALTH AS A FREELANCE CREATIVE

I've been dying to teach again after months with my nose buried in business development, HR, finance, and ops for my production company. And the opportunity to give a seminar at this event came at a perfect time when my company has found its footing with operations!

This October 26, Saturday, I will be giving a seminar called "Surviving a Creative Mind: Navigating Mental Health as a Freelance Creative" at a new wellness event called "gusto Holistic Summit" at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier Taguig.

The event is from 10am-8pm, but my time slot is at 5pm and tickets are going for Php 2,200.00 each with a goodie bag for the first 50 registered participants.

You may purchase passes at tttridem.com/gustopasses ! My company is also the official ticketing & guest management partner for this event.

I'm not lucky. I kept working hard. Then God decides when that hard work pays off. Nothing is luck or coincidence or within my control. I follow God's queues. I trust Him. My job is to do the work, so that whenever He says so, I'm ready. No grind pays off without God's grace.

God always fulfills His promises.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Find your light? Okay, I found it po. Ano po next?

Have you ever encountered actors who just do everything they're told? Even if they have no idea what's being asked of them? They're just game!

That kind of response is called "accepting the offer" or in improv "yes, and". That means someone offers you something, you accept it and then offer back.

The ability to improvise or "play along" without calculating consequences is what makes acting fun.

Before we were called actors, we were called "players". That's why stage shows were called "plays".

While it's great to take your craft seriously, never forget why you're here in the first place. Never let go of what makes this job fun for you. Take good care of your playfulness as an actor.

Not all acting is cerebral. Especially when you're starting. Don't know where to start as an actor? Start with improv! It's a solid starting point!

Thank you for this outtake from 's Headshots 4 Actors session! We have another on September 20 in BGC. DM me for info!

Whether or not you've been booked in years, if you feel like an actor, you are one. We as actors are not our bookings.
