⚖️ WRITING FOR JUSTICE AND HUMAN RIGHTS: A HUMAN RIGHTS RESEARCH WRITING WORKSHOP

In a time when disinformation, red-tagging, corruption, and human rights violations plague our democratic spaces, it is urgent to equip young and emerging law students with the tools for principled public writing.

This workshop is organized by the FEU-Public International Law class, in partnership with the FEU Institute of Law Student Council (FEU-ILSC), Far Eastern Law Review, Bulatlat, and Project Gunita. Together, we aim to foster a new generation of legal minds who can critically and courageously write for justice and human rights.

Topics:

👨‍⚖️ Dean Mel Sta. Maria
Keynote Lecture: The Role of Lawyers/Law Students in Shaping Public Legal Discourse
⚖️ Atty. Frank Lloyd Tiongson (NUPL)
Translating Legal Thought into Public Commentary on Public Interest Issues
📰 Dominic Gutoman (Bulatlat)
