This finally went live yesterday đ
I donât usually blank out or hit a mental block, but this time I did. Right in the middle of the stage.
See if you can spot the exact moment where my brain decided to take a short coffee break haha.

Let me know if it's cringey or bingey đ¤Ł
Sharing this anyway because growth isnât always polished and sometimes the most human moments are the ones we donât plan.
Be kind đ

To the world, you are a mother.
But to your family, you are the world.
On this special day, we honor the women who nurture with strength, lead with love, and carry the weight of generations with quiet grace.
Mothers remind us that leadership is found in the little things: in every sacrifice, every word of encouragement, every act of care.
To all the moms, mother figures, and nurturers in our livesâthank you. You may not wear a title, but you lead in ways that matter most.
Happy Motherâs Day.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of a former colleague and mentor, Ariel Francisco.
He was more than a team lead to meâhe was a quiet force who helped shape how I see leadership and growth.
I still remember that moment in my early career when, frustrated and disheartened, I typed, printed, and left a resignation letter on my bossâs desk. I waited for a response the next day, but none came. At the end of the day, I gathered the courage to follow upâonly to be intercepted by Ariel.
Turns out, he took the letter before my boss could read it. He pulled me aside and talked me down from an emotional decision. âYour team needs you,â he said. âYour growth mattersâand it doesnât always come easy.â
He was the first person to teach me the concept of kaizen, and the importance of owning your personal development. He gave me a vision of career growth that I carry with me to this day.
Our time working together was briefâbut his impact has stayed with me for decades.
Rest in peace, Ariel. Thank you for your wisdom, your quiet courage, and for believing in people like me when we didnât fully believe in ourselves.
You will be missed.

May the 4th be with you.
More than a movie line, itâs a reminder to root for others.
As leaders, our job isnât just to give directionâitâs to give belief.
To quietly say: âIâm with you. Iâve got your back.â
Today and every day, may we lead with hope, not pressure.
Encouragement, not ego.

Unsung but not unappreciated.
Labor Day is more than a holidayâitâs a quiet tribute to the everyday heroes who show up, put in the work, and make things happen.
To all our teammates, colleagues, and workers across industriesâthank you for your dedication, resilience, and the difference you make each day.
May we all continue to find meaning in the work we do, and pride in the people we do it with.
Happy Labor Day to all.

Leaders keep pace.
Not too far ahead. Not too far behind. Just rightâso the team moves together.
I remember NBA Coach Monty Williams teaching that sometimes, slowing down by a split second creates a 3-on-1 instead of a tough one-on-one.
Leadership works the same way.
The goal will always be greater than any one role.
Grateful for the mentors and teammates who remind me: leading isnât just about going fasterâitâs about moving better, together.
Still learning, every day.

Leadership is not about avoiding problemsâitâs about facing them with grace and truth.
I came across this passage today and it hit home.
Good leaders donât panic when the numbers look bad. They donât run from conflict or pretend problems donât exist. They normalize challenges, because they understand: problems donât mean failureâthey mean youâre still in the fight.
One line stood out: âIf theyâre facing problems, they still have a pulse.â
Itâs a reminder to keep showing up. Keep solving. Keep leadingâespecially when itâs hard.

Recently, we had the pleasure of surprising our boss with a special birthday celebration. While I couldn't stay for the entire event, I eagerly awaited his customary speech, curious to hear his reflections and insights.
During his address, he shared a valuable secret of success that resonated with me: Learn as much as you can and Love what you do.
Learning is an ongoing journey that knows no bounds. Regardless of the role or position we hold, embracing a mindset of continuous learning opens doors to new opportunities and growth. It's about seeking knowledge, expanding our skills, and staying curious about the ever-evolving world around us. As we absorb new insights and perspectives, we enhance our ability to navigate challenges and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Equally important is finding genuine love and passion for what we do. When we love our work, it ceases to be merely a job and becomes a fulfilling pursuit. It fuels our motivation, fuels our dedication, and fuels our drive to make a meaningful impact. Loving what we do enables us to channel our energy into creating exceptional outcomes and finding joy in our daily endeavors.
So, let's embrace the wisdom of learning and loving what we do. Let's commit to continuous growth and infuse our work with passion and purpose. Together, we can unlock new levels of success and fulfillment.
Cheers!

After our leadership team meeting, I took a few moments to reflect on how far technology has come and how it has transformed the way we present information. I vividly remember attending meetings as a young sales representative with a rolled-up 'Manila' paper as my visual aid. Then came the era of acetate projectors, followed by digital projectors where PowerPoint took center stage.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to share my deck wirelessly from my laptop to the screen, while seamlessly controlling my slides using a tablet. It's incredible how technology has made our presentations more dynamic and interactive.
However, amidst all these advancements, I firmly believe that the basics of a compelling presentation remain unchanged. I like to call it the 3S approach:
STORY: Every presentation should have a captivating story at its core. Stories have the power to engage and connect with our audience on an emotional level. They breathe life into data and leave a lasting impact.
STRUCTURE: Each section and slide of the presentation should contribute to the overall story. A clear and logical structure helps our audience follow along and understand the key points we want to convey.
SELF: Ultimately, the success of a presentation rests on the presenter. It's our ability to communicate, inspire, and connect that truly carries the message. Authenticity, confidence, and genuine passion can make all the difference.
So, as we embrace the wonders of technology in our presentations, let's not forget the importance of crafting compelling stories, structuring our content effectively, and delivering it with our unique selves. It's the combination of these elements that truly captivates and leaves a lasting impression.
Enjoy the weekend. Cheers!

I never really had pressure from my mom. She never demanded greatness from me. She just wanted me to be a good person. She wanted me to be okay - to be happy.
Shout out to all the mothers in the world. Happy Mother's Day!

Years ago, I stumbled upon an old second-hand book by Anthony Robbins in a bookstore somewhere south. I remember paying ten pesos for it and telling myself what a steal it was. Among the many inspiring quotes and insights in the book, one statement in particular has stuck with me over the years: 'If you can't, you must.' It's a simple yet powerful phrase that has helped me push through moments of self-doubt and resistance.
What does it mean? To me, it's a reminder that sometimes the things we resist or avoid are the very things we need to do in order to grow and achieve our goals. It's about challenging ourselves to step out of our comfort zones and take action, even when we don't feel like it or when it seems daunting.
Whenever I feel like procrastinating or making excuses (I still often do), I remember those words and use them as a motivation to take action. So, if you're feeling stuck or hesitant about something, give yourself a gentle push and remember: "if you can't, you must."
Happy Weekend.
