"Even before the footwear workshop, I have already attended the 2nd part Sketching session of Sir Eneri Abillar. There, I have known how to ideate from templates to final concepts. I have hoped to learn and improve my sketching skills by attending the studio, to see how designers do sketching process outside the school, and how I, as a designer, should meet the global standard of the drawing process. The part that I enjoyed the most in the 2 workshops that I have been, are whenever sir Eneri throws us unforgettable words that will make you inspire to practice and do whatever he is teaching me, and the part where I present my final sketches, and see the development of my sketching skills.
My advice to other students is that if you want to discover how to sketch like a professional, you should attend the Parts and Process Sketching workshop of V***r Studio Asia by Mr. Abillar. You will learn how to do the right process of ideation, and at the same time sketch for global standard. Most importantly, is to practice what you have learned and apply it in your work."

"I've always had a special interest in shoes, particularly about how they look and feel. However, as the workshop progressed, I realized that there's more to shoes than just materials and colors. I enjoyed learning about the more technical side of footwear, which includes silhouettes, parts of a shoe, construction, and more. The workshop showed me the side of footwear which I was unaware of, further developing my interest and appreciation of footwear in general. Whenever I check out shoes, I now look at them in a completely different way. I inspect things that I used to ignore completely. I also had a chance to develop my design process as well as design presentation skills through the workshop. Eneri Abillar just came from a meeting with a local athletic footwear company and he has one piece of advice for all designers, footwear designers alike - "DRAW."
