𝐃𝐌𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐧-𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Datu Mantato National High School (DMNHS) conducted its In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 on September 10, 2026, at the DMNHS Covered Court, attended by the school’s teachers.

Anchored on the theme “Nurture, Protect, and Perform: Crafting Safe and Effective Learning Environments,” the training focused on strengthening teachers’ capacity to promote safe and effective learning environments.

The sessions were facilitated by Asherin J. Daud, LPT, PhD, School Head, who discussed the Child Protection Policy and ILAW Lesson Planning, and Mr. Abdulrahim K. Mentang, LPT, who discussed DO 006, s. 2026 Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment (ESMLE). The activity also featured an open forum and the school’s 15th Founding Anniversary meeting.

Datu Mantato National High School (DMNHS) celebrated the talents, creativity, and cultural diversity of its learners through the School Festival of Talents and the Islamic Festival of Talents.

Held on September 8, 2026, the School Festival of Talents, led by SFOT Head Sir Datu Marcvin A. Datucan, featured various competitions including Bidyokasya, SineMunti, Impromptu Speech, Advocacy Pitch, Likhawitan, and Pintahusay, giving learners the opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Festival of Talents highlighted the rich Islamic culture, traditions, and talents of the DMNHS learners through meaningful and culturally inspired presentations and activities.

Both events reflected the school's commitment to nurturing learners' talents while promoting unity, cultural appreciation, confidence, and excellence among the DMNHS community.

𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐞

Datu Mantato National High School participated in the 1st Maguindanao del Norte Peace Jamboree held on September 4–7, 2026 at Brgy. Dalmangcob, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, with the theme “Service, Innovation, and Scouting for All.”

The four-day event gathered scouts and scout leaders from different schools in Maguindanao del Norte for various scouting activities, competitions, and learning experiences focused on service, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and peace.

Datu Mantato National High School was represented by four student scouts, accompanied by teacher leaders Abdulrahman G. Magandingan and Pepe D. Salik. The students took part in the different activities and competitions throughout the jamboree.

As a result of their participation, the DMNHS delegation received 16 Red Ribbons and 1 Green Ribbon in the various activities. These accomplishments reflected the students’ preparation, cooperation, and commitment throughout the event.

Beyond the ribbons and recognitions, the jamboree provided the students with an opportunity to develop their scouting skills, interact with fellow scouts, and learn the importance of service, unity, responsibility, and peace.

The participation of Datu Mantato National High School in the first Maguindanao del Norte Peace Jamboree is a meaningful experience for both the students and their teacher leaders, contributing to the school’s continued support for scouting and youth development.

Datu Mantato National High School successfully wrapped up the first phase of its Sports Fest 2026, held from September 2–4, bringing together six grade-level teams in a celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Carrying the theme “Ignite: Unity, Resilience, and Sustainable Progress,” the three-day sporting event featured competitions in Basketball, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Badminton, Athletics, Mind Games, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The event formally opened with the Opening Program, highlighted by the Saludo Contest, where the six teams showcased their discipline, creativity, and team spirit.

Representing their respective grade levels were the Valiant Scorpion of Grade 7, Legendary Black Mamba of Grade 8, Mighty Sea Dragon of Grade 9, Mythical Wolf Warriors of Grade 10, The Great White Shark of Grade 11, and Blazing Phoenix of Grade 12.

School Head Dr. Asherin J. Daud, PhD, together with School Sports Officer Abdulrahim U. Mentang, LPT, led the school community in supporting the athletes throughout the competition.

While the first phase has concluded, the race for the championship continues, with the remaining championship games and the official closing ceremony set to take place during the school’s Foundation Day celebration.

The battle is far from over—the six teams still have one more opportunity to ignite their spirit, resilience, and determination for victory.

Datu Mantato National High School (DMNHS) actively participated in the Enhancement Training for School Sports Coaches and Technical Officials, held on August 29–31, 2026 at Nuro Central Elementary School, Nuro, Maguindanao del Norte.

The training brought together educators and sports personnel to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies in coaching, officiating, and managing school sports activities. It served as an important avenue for strengthening the readiness of teachers who support and guide student-athletes in various sporting events.

Representing Datu Mantato National High School were Ayesha K. Tula, Arvie A. Mangi, Arbaiya A. Ansid, Abdulrahim S. Mentang, Helen S. Blah, Noraya O. Abas, and Zahara P. Dayato.

Their participation reflects the school’s continued commitment to professional development, sportsmanship, and the holistic development of learners through sports. Through trainings like this, DMNHS teachers are better equipped to mentor student-athletes and contribute to the success of future school sports competitions.
