The Aral Program of Mao Elementary School, initiated by Sir Nasrullah E. Asim with the support of Hon. Robert John D. Botin, has successfully completed its Week 1 activities. This initiative reflects a strong commitment to uplifting the quality of education and ensuring that no child should be left behind in learning.

Through the collaborative efforts of the school, barangay officials, and youth leaders, learners are given the opportunity to strengthen their academic skills through additional learning sessions and guidance beyond regular classroom instruction. Free transportation was provided through the initiative of Hon. Robert John D. Botin, while free merienda was generously given by the SK officials under the leadership of Hon. Mark Arvin D. Sibonga, who also selflessly renders his service as a volunteer teacher of the school.

The mission of the Aral Program is not only to enhance literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking among pupils, but also to inspire confidence, discipline, and a deeper love for learning. It serves as a reminder that when the community unites in support of education, every learner is empowered to succeed. Indeed, this program is a living example that with shared dedication and compassion, no child should be left behind, and every child is given the chance to reach their full potential.

A remarkable milestone for Mao Elementary School as the newly installed school signage landmark is officially unveiled and turned over—fully implemented through the initiative and unwavering support of the Barangay Chairman of Mao, Hon. Robert John D. Botin.

Mao Elementary School Wins Championship in Fire Prevention Month 2026 Quiz Bee Competition
Mao Elementary School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its pupils Kleyan C. Perias and Jeselle L. Calibara, who emerged as Champions in the Fire Prevention Month 2026 Quiz Bee held by the Bureau of Fire Protection – Datu Abdullah Sangki Fire Station.

Demonstrating outstanding knowledge on fire safety, prevention, and emergency preparedness, the young champions bested other participating schools in the competition. Their victory highlights not only their academic excellence but also their awareness of the importance of fire safety in the community.

The team was guided by their dedicated coach, Ma’am Euvileen Kenn D. Porras, whose mentorship and commitment helped prepare the pupils for the challenging quiz competition.

This achievement brings pride and honor to Mao Elementary School, proving once again that with hard work, determination, and strong guidance, young learners can achieve excellence and become advocates of safety and preparedness in their community.
