Bicol at 29.8% ang rate ng Stunting for pre-school age children 0-59mos old.

Ang stunting ay impaired physical growth in children, resulting in a height that is too short for their age. It is caused by chronic malnutrition and repeated infections, primarily occurring during the crucial first 1,000 days of life.

Saang mga rehiyon sa bansa pinakamataas ang stunting prevalence? Ayon sa latest updating survey ng DOST-Food and Nutrition Research Institute, sa BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, MIMAROPA, at Negros Island Region lumalampas ng 30% ang stunting rate. ⬆️
