On August 27, 2026, the stage became more than just a place for performancesโ€”it became a space where melodies carried stories, emotions found rhythm, and young voices dared to create something of their own.

As part of the ๐Œ๐€๐๐„๐‡ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, spearheaded by subject teacher ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‹๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐ข๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ, students showcased their creativity and talent through a ๐’๐จ๐ง๐  ๐–๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. With the audience watching live, every performance unfolded with anticipation, turning the event into a celebration of music, passion, and self-expression.

Behind every song was more than a combination of words and melody. There were ideas carefully written, emotions sincerely expressed, and courage gathered before stepping onto the stage. Each group carried its own story, transforming simple lyrics into meaningful performances that reached beyond the competition itself.

The live performances filled the venue with excitement and appreciation as students witnessed the beauty of creating and sharing original music. Applause echoed not only for those who performed flawlessly but also for every participant who took the challenge of turning thoughts and feelings into songs.

Through the guidance and initiative of ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‹๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐ข๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ, the MAPEH 10 Culmination proved that learning does not always happen within the four corners of the classroom. Sometimes, it happens under the bright lights of a stage, in the nervousness before a performance, and in the proud smiles that follow after the final note.

Indeed, on that day, music was not simply heardโ€”it was written, performed, and felt.

As part of the preparation for the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026, aspiring campus journalists gathered for the School Level On-the-Spot Contest in Feature Writing. With pens in hand and creativity in mind, our young writers transformed ideas, experiences, and observations into compelling stories.

VJNVHS Faculty, Staff, and Students Work Together for a Successful Project GIYA Visit

Teachers, staff, and students showed full cooperation during the visit of regional officials for the provision of the Project GIYA. Selected teachers, namely Milky Jane M. Buenaventura, Mary Jane M. Morial, Melba N. Timbal, and Shiela Mae G. Cabintoy, were observed during their classes by the Subject Group Heads, namely, Mr. Dennis Jalinon Bernades, Mrs. Dexielyn C. Magpatoc, Mrs. Maribel Ruba, and Mrs. Lea C. Entuna which is the main purpose of this year's GIYA Technical Assistance. After the observations, Subject Group Heads with their teacher demonstrators are invited to a post conference session, where they received professional feedback, advice, and suggestions from the observers to improve their teaching methods and classroom delivery.

The students also actively participated in the observed classes, showing discipline and engagement. The visit highlighted the strong teamwork between teachers and students in creating a better learning environment.

The entire activity was made even more successful through the strong leadership of the School Principal - Ma'am Violeta A. Makiling who gave her full support, effort, and worked closest with the faculty to ensure everything was well-prepared .

Through Project GIYA, the school continues to strive for excellence in teaching and learning.

SDS Tamayo and Division Officials Visit VJNVHS for Project GIYA

On July 28, 2025, Schools Division Superintendent Carmela R. Tamayo and other officials from the Division of Catbalogan City visited Villa Jacinta National Vocational High School.

The purpose of their visit was to conduct Project GIYA, a program by the Department of Education that aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools. It provides technical support and guidance to teachers through classroom observations, feedback, and sharing of best practices.

Project GIYA helps teachers and leaders improve how they teach and supports them in creating better learning experiences for students. The visit was part of the DepEd regionals office effort to promote effective teaching and better education for all learners.
