The Alternative Learning System (ALS) of Tagum City successfully culminated its ALS Learning Camp Year 2 on June 5, 2025, at E-Park, Apokon, Tagum City.

This 20-day learning camp served as a transformative experience for our ALS Campersβ€”as it aimed to reinforce essential academic competencies, develop life skills, and promote values education in an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment.

The culmination program was made even more meaningful by the presence of key education leaders, including Dr. Leila L. Ibita, ALS Focal Person; Sir Delio C. Caya, EPS II; and Dr. Harley Aglosolos, along with other Education Program Supervisors (EPS) and Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS), who showed their full support and encouragement to our ALS community.

This event marked not just the end of the camp, but the beginning of a renewed commitment to lifelong learning, hope, and opportunity for every ALS learner in Tagum City. β€οΈπŸ’šπŸ’™

This initiative would not have been possible without the invaluable support and funding provided by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tagum City, whose dedication to inclusive education continues to empower and uplift every ALS learner.

Empowered Women, Empowered Community! 🌸

Apokon Elementary School - Alternative Learning System proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month 2025! This month, we honor the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in our community. From our dedicated ALS learners to the inspiring women who guide and support them, we recognize that every woman has the power to create change, uplift others, and shape a brighter future.

Through education, we empower women to break barriers, pursue their dreams, and inspire the next generation. Let’s continue working towards a society where equality, respect, and opportunities are not just ideals but everyday realities.
