NORSU–Mabinay Campus successfully conducted a Re-Orientation on CSC–HR policies, GAD-related concerns, and Safety and Security Management for faculty and staff last February 3, 2026, held at the NORSU–Mabinay AVR.
The activity was made meaningful through the valuable insights shared by our Resource Speakers: Dr. Dee Laila C. Buhian, Dr. Aileen Rosette M. Felix, and Prof. Julio E. Ventolero. Their discussions strengthened awareness and reinforced our commitment to a safe, inclusive, and policy-compliant campus.

Re: Executive Order No. 19, Series of 2025 issued by the Office of the Governor of Negros Oriental

In compliance with Executive Order No. 19, Series of 2025 issued by the Office of the Governor of Negros Oriental, afternoon and evening classes at all levels are suspended today, September 8, 2025, due to heavy rains brought by Tropical Cyclone “Tapah.”

At Negros Oriental State University, there will be no face-to-face classes. To ensure the continuity of learning, faculty members are encouraged to conduct classes through synchronous or asynchronous modalities (e.g., online sessions, learning management systems, and self-paced activities).

Negros Oriental State University – Mabinay Campus successfully held its Off-Campus Seminar-Orientation on the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees last August 15–17, 2025 at Sea Horizon, Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers — Director Merlinda F. Quillano of the CSC Field Office of Negros Oriental and BIR Revenue Officer, Atty. Gericah May Rodriguez, CPA — for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise during the sessions.
