Through the initiative and efforts of Pickle and Friends Community and Cross Court Club, a total of 231 learning kits were formally turned over today to learners of Calumpang Elementary School and Monicayo Integrated School
The turnover marks the culmination of months of fundraising, volunteer mobilization, and partnership-building led by Cross Court Club, Pickle & Friends Community, and NU Clark Alumni Affairs Office and Community Extension Services Office.
The learning kits, composed of essential school supplies for primary-level learners, were distributed to help equip students for the incoming academic year aiming to address the learning material needs of public school learners.
The project was made possible through the collective efforts of Cross Court Club and Pickle & Friends Community, which organized separate Open Play for-a-Cause events in support of the campaign.
Through the generosity of their members, players, donors, and supporters, the two clubs raised a combined total of PHP 49,555, demonstrating how sports communities can extend their impact beyond the court and into meaningful social causes.
Following the fundraising activities, volunteers from both clubs joined the repacking activity held on June 16, where exactly 300 sets of school supplies were assembled.
The remainder of the 69 sets of learning kits will soon be turned over to Dau Elementary School, making the Project KABANATA reach three partner schools.
Meanwhile, the NU Clark Alumni Affairs Office was able to lead volunteer mobilization efforts among SHS Faculty Members and Students providing platform for volunteerism among SHS alumni.
National University Clark, through its Community Extension Services Office (COMEX), served as a supporting partner in the implementation of the project, facilitating coordination with beneficiary schools and volunteers.
The University and the COMEX Services Office commends Cross Court Club and Pickle & Friends Community for their outstanding commitment to educational empowerment and community service.
We at NU Clark extend our deepest gratitude to Cross Court Club, Pickle & Friends Community, their members, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for their generosity and unwavering commitment to the success of Project KABANATA.

Findings from the assessment will be consolidated into a technical report that will be formally turned over to the school administration to support future maintenance and infrastructure planning efforts.
Meanwhile, the Architecture Department likewise launched the Replast Project in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council of Basa Air Base National High School.
