On Action Dr. Josilyn Solana led the Post DEDP Conference and Introducing PADAJAG Version 2.0
April 03, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 11: 00 AM | Venue: OSDS Office
The recently concluded Post Division Education Development Plan (DEDP) Conference brought together the SGOD to assess the Division's performance in alignment with Year 2 and Year 3 targets.
Held with the goal of refining strategic directions, the conference placed particular emphasis on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring that school-level metrics are effectively realigned with division-wide objectives.
Dr. Josilyn S. Solana - SDS, a leading figure in the Division’s education planning, highlighted the significant improvements in the newly enhanced PADAJAG Version 2.0.
This upgraded framework was designed to enhance the coherence of performance measures from schools up to the Division Office, ensuring better data accuracy and alignment with broader DepEd objectives.
Dr. Solana emphasized that this version strengthens accountability, minimizes discrepancies, and fosters a more data-driven approach to educational planning and decision-making.
During the discussions, Dr. Isidro Catubig-ASDS raised concerns regarding the incorrect computation of KPIs at the school level. He stressed that inaccuracies in the reporting process could lead to misinterpretation of progress and hinder informed decision-making.
His insights prompted a review of data consolidation processes, ensuring that future reporting mechanisms incorporate a more precise methodology.
Among the notable attendees were Lorlin Malbas, Senior Education Program Specialist for Planning and Research (SEPS P&R), Zedrick Malbas, SEPS for Monitoring and Evaluation (SEPS M&E), and Mr. Ronald Cuevas, Division Planning Officer III.
Each of them played a crucial role in dissecting performance metrics, identifying gaps, and proposing action plans to optimize KPI tracking and implementation across the Division.
The conference concluded with a strong commitment from the SGOD to continuously refine and enhance KPIs and PPAs tracking mechanisms.
The improved PADAJAG Version 2.0 will serve as a vital tool in bridging the gap between school and division-level performance metrics, ensuring that Southern Leyte’s education goals remain on track toward achieving its DEDP Year 3 targets.
With enhanced data accuracy, realigned indicators, and a more streamlined reporting process, the Division is poised to make significant strides in educational performance and service delivery.
Abante Southern Leyte!
