Yesterday, April 16, 2026, marked a meaningful milestone for our SJC Band members as they proudly took part in the “Moving Up” Ceremony. Your presence and performance added color, pride, and a sense of honor to this special occasion. More than just music, you represented discipline, teamwork, and dedication—values that define what it truly means to be part of the band.

As you move forward to new beginnings, carry with you the lessons, friendships, and memories you’ve built along the way. May every beat you play remind you of how far you’ve come and inspire you to keep striving for excellence.

We are proud of each one of you. Continue to shine, grow, and make a difference wherever life takes you. The journey doesn’t end here—it only gets better.

Happy National Marching Arts Day!!!

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲

National Marching Arts Day is a special time to recognize the hard work, discipline, and passion of students who take part in the marching arts. It celebrates the effort behind every performance, from long hours of practice to teamwork and dedication.

Celebrated every March 4th, the marching arts help students develop confidence, responsibility, and unity. Through music and movement, they learn the value of cooperation, patience, and perseverance. Every step and every beat shows their commitment to excellence.

On this day, we also give recognition to 𝐒𝐉𝐂 𝐃𝐋𝐂 for being part of this meaningful tradition. Their dedication and love for the marching arts inspire our school community and strengthen school spirit.

As we celebrate National Marching Arts Day, let us continue to support and appreciate all performers who bring pride and energy to our school.

Happy National Marching Arts Day!

VICTORY MARCHED, GLORY EARNED! 🎺🥁✨

December 15, 2025 will forever echo in our hearts as a day of triumph, pride, and unwavering passion. At the Marching Band Contest held in Sogod, Southern Leyte, the Saint Joseph College Drum and Lyre Corps rose above all—claiming the CHAMPION title and proudly taking home Best in Costume. Every step, every beat, and every note told a story of discipline, unity, and excellence.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the other remarkable contenders:

Bontoc National High School, who secured Second Place and earned Best in Street Parade and Best in Band Master/Major, and

Sogod National High School, who placed Third and shone brightly with Best in Band Majorette.

This victory is shared with the pillars behind our success. Our deepest gratitude to Mons. Oscar Cadayona, SJC School President; Ms. Melodina Dela Cruz, Junior High Principal; Maasin City LGU; the Provincial Government of Southern Leyte for transportation support; the dedicated Teachers and Staff of SJC JHS; the Barangay Council of Tagnipa led by Capt. Martha Saludo; the Barangay Council of Lib-og; and our ever-supportive parents, whose faith never wavered.

This win is more than a trophy—it is a testament to teamwork, sacrifice, and heart. We marched with purpose, performed with soul, and celebrated with gratitude. We LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE the music, the journey, and the family we’ve built.
