Our esteemed guest speakers, Prof. Rosalie I. Untalan and Prof. Jeiremie J. Odias, shared invaluable insights on public speaking strategies and common grammatical errorsโ€”knowledge that will surely elevate our writing and speaking skills !

Stepping into the corporate world with drive and versatility, Sheena demonstrates how a solid foundation in language, communication, and critical thinking translates seamlessly into human resource management. In her role, she manages talent recruitment, facilitates clear lines of communication between employees and candidates, and maintains critical organizational documentation with efficiency and precision.

Reflecting on her professional path, she highlights how the BA English program prepared her to be adaptable across diverse industries rather than bound to a single career track. The communication, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills she developed during her degree have given her the confidence to handle complex HR responsibilities and grow as a professional. For this week's spotlight, we are thrilled to introduce ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ž ๐‹๐š๐ฆ๐ณ๐จ๐ง, our second alumna for the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies program ! Cristy, who also served as our dedicated Liberal Arts Governor year 2023-2024, is now prospering as an Online English as a Second Language "ESL" teacher.

Despite not holding an education degree, Cristy proved that a BAELS degree gives her a rock-solid foundation for teaching. From mastering communication and lesson planning to exploring foreign languages, her journey shows how a deep love for language can opens doors to educating and empowering learners from all walks of life.

๐“๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ค๐š ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐จ, ๐›๐ž๐ก | The BAEL students, together with the other programs, attended the acquaintance party celebration of the COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES with a theme "CASinadya 2026" earlier today, July 11, 2026, at SBC Gymnasium.

The visible trace of excitement and happiness on the students' faces when they got the chance to interact with each other by various activities, and of course, what's a party without food ? it was such a happy heart, full stomach day !

The event ended with a massive picture taking. Students carried more memories to cherish and new friendship to keep as they went home.
