Ang University Libraries โ€“ Lucena, katuwang ang LIB.COM, ang organisasyon ng mga mag-aaral ng Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS), ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng National Book Week 2026 na may temang: โ€œBasa, Salin, Daloyโ€.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, magsasagawa ang University Libraries at LIB.COM ng mga hybrid na gawain na naglalayong itaguyod ang pagbabasa, pagkamalikhain, pagbabahagi ng kaalaman, information literacy, at pagpapahalaga sa aklatan bilang lugar ng pagkatuto, pagtuklas, at pagbuo ng mga pangarap.

The MSEUF Libraries continues to strengthen its commitment to community development through its Community Extension Project, โ€œAklatanihan: An Adopt-A-Library Program.โ€ The initiative aims to support small libraries in establishing and improving their Learning Resource Centers by providing books, essential reading materials, and professional assistance.

On September 11, 2026, the MSEUF library team, headed by Dr. Myrna Casipit, together with Ms. Aisa Zeta, Ms. Charlyn Salcedo, Ms. Geraldine Eustaquio, Ms. Carolina Engana, Mr. Zoren Alcantara, and Mr. Michael Kimroy Lawas, in collaboration with Dr. Milagrosa Lawas, Head of Community Extension, and Mr. Zedric Subol, CES NTP Coordinator, visited Liwayway National High School and Manuel S. Enverga Memorial School of Arts and Trade in Mauban, Quezon. During the visit, the team donated books and reading materials to support the schoolsโ€™ learning resource needs.

Through Aklatanihan, the MSEUF Libraries remains steadfast in promoting literacy, enriching learning environments, and empowering partner institutions through meaningful community engagement and the sharing of valuable learning resources.
