𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

Today, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) joined the International Coastal Cleanup through the Second Semi-Annual Clean-up and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Activities of the Iyam-Dumacaa River System Water Quality Management Area (IDRS-WQMA) in Barangay Barra, Lucena City, Quezon.

In coordination with the Governing Board of the IDRS-WQMA, MSEUF joined various stakeholders in promoting environmental awareness and strengthening collective efforts toward the protection, preservation, and rehabilitation of the Iyam-Dumacaa River System.

Through collective action, we help keep our coastlines clean, reduce marine litter, and strengthen our commitment to a more sustainable future. Every piece of waste collected is a reminder that meaningful change begins with small actions—and becomes stronger when we work together.

Together, let us keep our coasts clean and our oceans thriving!

The newly rehabilitated Daewoo Bus of the University has officially arrived!

After undergoing rehabilitation, the bus now features a fresh, modern design inspired by the existing Volvo Bus!

From its old look (left picture upper part) to its new and improved appearance, this transformation is more than just a makeover. The bus now also features CCTV cameras inside, adding an extra layer of safety and security for everyone on board.

𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation successfully conducted its university-wide participation in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM, aimed at strengthening the preparedness and emergency response of the entire campus community in the event of an earthquake.

Upon activation of the alarm through the campus public address system, all participants promptly observed the proper earthquake response procedure, Duck, Cover, and Hold, followed by a calm and organized evacuation to their designated assembly areas. Security personnel, OSH Committee members, and UDERT members assisted in guiding and monitoring the orderly evacuation across the campus.

A total of 3,416 individuals participated in the drill, distributed across the five zones as follows: Zone 1 – 438, Zone 2 – 712, Zone 3 – 639, Zone 4 – 1,317, and Zone 5 – 310.

Following the evacuation and headcount, a post-evaluation was conducted to assess the implementation of the drill, gather observations, and identify areas for improvement to further strengthen the university’s disaster preparedness and emergency response protocols.

The activity was successfully carried out through the active participation and cooperation of the campus community, reinforcing MSEUF’s commitment to safety, preparedness, and resilience.

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘀!

The University Shuttle Service is back! 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰, 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆. The service will begin at 5:00 PM, with four (4) trips each day, ending at approximately 7:30 PM. A ₱10.00 fare per ride for students will apply.

Destination: Watsons Bayan near Gemini Bakery

This return also serves as a pilot run to assess the efficiency of the routes, schedules, and overall service experience. Adjustments may be made based on feedback and the needs of our community.

We’re excited to have our shuttle service back and hope this provides a safer and more convenient way for Envergans to get around campus! Stay safe!

LOOK: The Sustainability Department, through the Health and Safety Unit, successfully conducted the Active Shooter Response Seminar and Simulation Training on September 2, 2026 (Wednesday).

The activity was attended by members of the University Disaster and Emergency Response Team (UDERT), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee, Safety Officers of the affiliate schools, Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC), CCJC First Responders, Security Personnel, and the General Services Department.

The training aimed to enhance the participants' knowledge, preparedness, and response capabilities in dealing with active shooter incidents and other emergency situations, reinforcing the University's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning and working environment.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Please be informed that an earthquake drill will be conducted on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

The drill will start at 2:00 PM. Once the alarm is heard, everyone is expected to follow the phases of the drill:

• Alarm – The alarm will sound to signal the start of the earthquake drill.
• Response (Duck, Cover, and Hold) – Everyone should immediately perform the proper earthquake response.
• Evacuation – Once the alarm stops, everyone will proceed calmly to their designated assembly areas.
• Assembly – All participants will gather at their designated assembly areas for headcount and safety checking.

During the evacuation, our security guards, OSH Committee members, and UDERT members will assist in guiding everyone to their designated assembly areas. Please refrain from talking with colleagues while evacuating to ensure safe and orderly movement.

The participation of all faculty members, employees, students, visitors, and other workers present on the premises is required.

: Please be informed that Gate 3 will be reopened while Gate 4 will be closed again effective September 9, 2026 (Wednesday).

In line with this adjustment, the jeepney and tricycle terminals will also return to its previous location near Gate 3.

Please be guided accordingly and plan your entry, exit, and transportation arrangements ahead of time.

✅ Health and Safety Unit – promoting the health, safety, and well-being of the University community. EMME Security Group, the outsourced security agency of the University, coordinates also with the unit.

✅ Business Development Unit – supporting sustainable growth, innovation, resource development, and initiatives that create long-term value.

✅ Environmental Resource and Management Unit – leading environmental protection, resource management, conservation, and climate-responsive initiatives.

Driving these pillars are our Sustainability Drivers—the people, systems, partnerships, innovation, and continuous improvement efforts that help turn sustainability commitments into meaningful action.

Together, these units form one integrated structure, working toward a safe, resilient, environmentally responsible, and sustainable University!

COMMUNITY ADVISORY | Envergans are advised to wear a well-fitting face mask, preferably an N95 or equivalent, when outdoors due to reported haze affecting CALABARZON and other areas in the country.
