Ipinanganak noong 1870 sa Santa Cruz, Laguna, naging ordinaryong babae bago sumapi sa Himagsikan upang ipaglaban ang kalayaan. Kilala bilang “Tagalog Joan of Arc” at kauna-unahang babaeng heneral sa Pilipinas, nakipaglaban siya sa mga mananakop at nagpatunay ng tapang at kakayahan ng kababaihan sa pakikibaka.

Pinatunayan niya na ang tunay na lakas ay nasa wagas na pagmamahal sa bayan at matibay na paninindigan sa kalayaan.

As part of 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐇𝐒 students and leaders united to plant trees and build a greener, more sustainable community. Every tree planted stands for 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, and a 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 for Lucena. 💚

Pinatunayan niya na ang tunay na kabayanihan ay nasa sakripisyo, katapangan, at pagmamahal sa bayan.
