๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐!
Every book has a learner waiting to discover what is inside.
At Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School, learning does not stop when materials are distributed. It begins when these resources reach the hands of our learners and become part of their everyday reading, practice, discovery, and growth.
As part of our continuing efforts to strengthen reading and foundational learning skills, various learning materials were distributed to our Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners and are now being maximized through the ARAL Program and reading remediation activities.
Our learners from Kindergarten to Grade 3 received additional learning and reading materials to support their learning needs and strengthen their reading skills. For Kindergarten, 186 copies of Kulay and 186 copies of My Jumbo Learning Workbook were provided. For Grade 1, learners received 203 copies each of Munting Patak ng Ulan and Si Putot, together with the English Reading Kit โ Level 1. Grade 2 learners received 212 copies each of Message in the Sand and Ano Kaya Ako Paglaki, along with the English Reading Kit โ Level 2. Meanwhile, Grade 3 learners received 226 copies each of Ang Masisipag na Langgam and Ang Bayang Maaksaya sa Tubig.
As a supplementary reading resource, Lampara Reads โ โKasama sa Pag-unlad ng Batang Pilipino,โ using the Marungko Approach, was also made available to further support the continuing development of learnersโ early reading skills.
But what makes these learning materials truly valuable is not simply that they were distributedโit is that they are being used. Our teachers are actively putting these resources into meaningful learning experiences through guided reading, small-group reading activities, and focused reading remediation. The materials are also being utilized during comprehension and vocabulary activities, ARAL intervention sessions, and additional reading practice.
Through these efforts, teachers are able to provide learning experiences that respond to the different abilities, needs, and levels of our learners.
More than books and printed materials, these resources have become tools that help teachers provide learners with more opportunities to read, understand, practice, and improve. Each material placed in the hands of a learner represents another opportunity to build confidence, develop reading skills, and make meaningful progressโone page, one word, and one learner at a time.
These materials are not simply placed on shelves.
They are being opened, read, discussed, practiced, and shared.
They are helping a learner sound out a difficult word.
They are giving another learner the confidence to read aloud.
They are helping a teacher provide additional practice.
And for some learners, they may simply be the extra opportunity they need to say:
โKaya ko palang magbasa.โ
From the 1,654 copies of the specified learning materials distributed across Kindergarten to Grade 3, together with the English Reading Kits and Lampara Reads resources, our school continues to maximize every available learning resource for the benefit of our learners.
Because a learning material becomes more meaningful when it is used with purpose and reaches a learner who needs it.
At Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School, we continue to believe that every learner deserves meaningful opportunities to learn, practice, improve, and grow.
DISTRIBUTE. UTILIZE. READ. LEARN. GROW.
One book.
One page.
One word.
One learner at a time.
