Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School (ERAES) officially opened its doors for School Year 2026-2027, welcoming back its learners for another year of learning and growth.

North District Public Schools District Supervisor Mam Eden A. Reazo graced the flag ceremony, joining School Principal III Mam Marilyn A. Merto and the ERAES community in marking the start of the new school year.

A bright moment of the morning came from the Grade 4 pupils, who performed a lively dance number to "Mamang Sorbetero" that brought smiles to learners, teachers, and parents in attendance.

The local government unit also partnered with the school to provide school supplies for each learner, giving the children a fresh start as they begin classes.

May this school year bring new learnings, new friendships, and new chances to grow together. Welcome back, ERAESians. Here's to a great year ahead.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School (ERAES) formally opened Brigada Eskwela 2026 on June 1, 2026, marking the start of a week-long activity under the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman."

The day began with a motorcade, followed by an AVP for the national anthem, a prayer, and an energizer that gathered everyone before the program proper.

School Principal III Mrs. Marilyn A. Merto delivered her opening message and took the time to listen to the expectations of parents for the coming school year. Mrs. Susiebeth E. Aranilla of the ERAES faculty also shared her own message with the parents. The grade-level teachers then shared their helpful reminders with parents as they prepare for the start of classes.

In the same spirit of bayanihan, Hon. Nelbert John Lequin, Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Ibabang Dupay; Brgy. Captain Benito Amazona of Barangay Ibabang Dupay; and Mrs. Ronelie M. Venerayan, President of the ERAES Parents-Teachers Association, also shared their thoughts and well wishes with the parents and the school community.

This coming June 1 to 5, 2026, Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School (ERAES) opens its doors for Brigada Eskwela 2026, and we would love to have you with us.

Carrying the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman," this year's activity is our shared effort to prepare the school for the incoming school year. Whether you are a parent, alumnus, part of the private sector, or a friend of the school, your time and support will mean a lot to our learners.

Any form of help is welcome, from books and reading materials, school supplies, materials for facility repairs, to hygiene and health supplies. Full details are in the poster.

Alumni from different batches came home to Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School (ERAES) for the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2026, held last May 23, 2026 at the ERAES Covered Court.

Carrying the theme "Isang Ugat, Isang Pangarap, Pagbabalik-tanaw at Pagkakaisa," the day included a Holy Mass and an opening prayer, a meaningful start as former learners reconnected and looked back on the roots they share.

The event was made possible through the support of the school administration led by School Principal III Marilyn A. Merto, together with the alumni, faculty, and guests who took part.

ERAES implements ARAL Summer Program

Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School (ERAES) implements the ARAL Summer Program as part of its commitment to enhance the literacy and numeracy skills of its learners. The program specifically targeted selected students who needed additional support in reading and mathematics across various grade levels.

A total of 58 learners participated in the program, distributed as follows: 12 learners from Grade 1, 9 learners from Grade 2, and 11 learners from Grade 3 under ARAL Reading. Additionally, 14 learners were enrolled under Reading for Key Stage 2, while 12 learners participated in ARAL Math for Key Stage 1.

To ensure the smooth delivery of instruction, four tutors were assigned to handle ARAL Reading classes, while one tutor was designated for ARAL Math. The tutors collaboratively prepared and developed appropriate learning materials suited to the needs and levels of the learners, ensuring that the sessions would be engaging and effective.

Prior to the implementation of the program, a parents’ orientation was conducted in coordination with the school principal, Marilyn A. Merto. The orientation aimed to inform parents about the objectives, structure, schedule, and expectations of the ARAL Summer Program, as well as to encourage their active support and involvement.

The ARAL Summer Program officially commenced on May 6, 2026, and will run until June 2, 2026. Classes are conducted from Monday to Thursday, with two hours allotted per learning area each day. Fridays are designated for home-based learning activities to reinforce the competencies acquired during the in-school sessions.

Through this initiative, ERAES continues to uphold its dedication to improving the academic performance of its learners by providing structured interventions that address learning gaps in reading and mathematics.
