Today, June 18, 2026, educators across the Lucban District gathered at the PEL 1 Museum for the launching of Project CARE² LEGACY (Learning and Educating Generations through Awareness of Cultural Yesterday), a meaningful initiative designed to deepen teachers' understanding and appreciation of Lucban’s rich history, culture, traditions, and heritage.

Spearheaded and initiated by our dedicated Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma’am Maria Carla Caraan, this project aims to empower teachers with localized historical knowledge and contextualized learning resources that will enrich classroom instruction and strengthen learners' connection to their community.

Through this initiative, we continue to preserve the past, celebrate our identity, and inspire future generations to take pride in Lucban’s cultural legacy.

Lucban District elementary teachers actively participated in the District IN-Service Training 2026 with the theme “Inclusive Education in Action: Understanding RA 11650 cm District Programs and Projects” held today at the District Museum.

The session provided valuable insights on the implementation of **RA 11650 (Inclusive Education Act)** and strengthened teachers’ understanding of various district programs and projects aimed at ensuring that every learner receives equitable, accessible, and quality education.

PSDS Carla Caraan conducted Technical Assistance for the ARAL Program Tutors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective implementation and improved learner outcomes.

She also conducted a Reading Assessment for Grade 3 and Grade 4 pupils to closely monitor their reading progress and identify needed interventions.
