As the rainy season continues to bring challenges to many of our fellow students and communities, let us once again embody the Honorian Spirit of Bayanihan—a spirit that reminds us that no one should have to face difficult times alone.

Through 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, the University Student Council (USC) and Office of the Student Regent (OSR) are opening their doors to those who are willing to extend a helping hand. We warmly invite students, faculty, staff, and members of the Honorian community to share whatever assistance they can, big or small, for those who may be in need.

At this time, 𝗶𝗻-𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱, as these are the most immediately needed by our fellow Honorians. You may donate any of the following:

For those who wish to donate, you may personally drop off your 𝗶𝗻-𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 donations at the University Student Council Office starting on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (Tuesday) or message the USC and OSR pages for proper coordination.

This initiative is undertaken in reference to 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬𝟴, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, which provides the institutional basis for initiatives that promote student welfare, support, and assistance within the Honorian community.

‎‎As we experience the heavy rainfall and flooding brought by Tropical Storm Maymay, we, the Junior Marketing Executives (JMex), are kindly reminding everyone to keep safe and be prepared everytime.

‎📢 Important things to do:‎
• Refrain from going into the flood if it's not needed. ‎
• Always verify the trusted weather forecast and government announcement to keep updated. ‎
‎• Keep your phones and power banks charged.
‎• Secure important documents and an emergency kit, and always keep them with you.
‎• Know where the safest place or nearest evacuation center is in case of emergency.

| Due to the inclement weather and flooding brought about by the Southwest Monsoon affecting various municipalities and areas in Pampanga, including Bacolor, the Commencement Exercises scheduled for August 11, 2026 (Tuesday), are hereby postponed. The new schedule for the Commencement Exercises will be announced at a later date.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish everyone safety and remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions.

As heavy rainfall and flooding brought by Tropical Storm Maymay, together with the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), continue to affect communities across the province, the University Student Council (USC) and Office of the Student Regent (OSR) are reaching out to every Honorian to check on your safety and current situation.

To our Honorians who are currently staying in dormitories, apartments, or boarding houses near the university and may be in need of assistance, we encourage you to reach out to the council and office. You may send a message through the official USC and OSR pages or coordinate directly with any USC Officer.

As part of this student check-in, the USC and OSR will conduct an onsite visitation tomorrow, August 10, 2026, among Honorians currently staying in apartments, dormitories, and bedspaces in Bacolor. Onsite visitations in the regular campuses will likewise be conducted in the following days.

Your safety and well-being remain important to us, and we will assess your concerns and determine the appropriate assistance or action that may be extended.

During challenging times such as these, let us continue to remain vigilant, extend support to those who may need it, and uphold the spirit of Bayanihan within our community.

| Following the announcements of the local government units, face-to-face classes are suspended. Accordingly, classes in all Pampanga State University campuses will be conducted through online synchronous learning on August 7, 2026 (Friday).

University offices shall remain open and continue regular operations. Meanwhile, the Baccalaureate Mass will proceed as scheduled.
