BUSNGOL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES 36TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY! 🎉

Busngol Elementary School celebrated its 36th Founding Anniversary on September 26, 2026, beginning with a meaningful Tree Planting Activity near the riverbank, followed by the Anniversary Program and the Induction of the Newly Appointed School Governing Council (SGC).

The celebration was graced by Hon. Jeramel Pulanco, Barangay Captain; Kagawad Edwin Mejollo; SPTA President Ruel Manal; and School Head Nida B. Mapait.

The afternoon featured the Reyna ng Busngol 2026 Coronation, with the presence of the Puerto Princesa City Federated SPTA, led by Arjay Von Favila Villeza, who shared free slippers for Busngol learners through the Hakbang Paslit Program. 👟❤️

Special thanks to our Busngol SPTA officers, teachers, parents, learners, and all our stakeholders whose support and cooperation made this celebration a success.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | Busngol Elementary School Nakiisa sa Nationwide School Safety Simulation Drill

BUSNGOL, Puerto Princesa City | Setyembre 11, 2026 – Matagumpay na nakiisa ang Busngol Elementary School sa isinagawang Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill noong Setyembre 11 bilang bahagi ng kampanya ng Department of Education (DepEd) na palakasin ang kahandaan ng mga paaralan sa pagtugon sa mga posibleng banta at emerhensiya.

Bago isinagawa ang aktwal na drill, nagsagawa muna ang paaralan ng Pre-Orientation para sa mga mag-aaral, g**o, at mga magulang upang maipaliwanag ang layunin, mga hakbang sa kaligtasan, at ang wastong gagawin ng bawat isa sakaling magkaroon ng emergency o aktibong pag-atake sa loob ng paaralan. Ang naturang oryentasyon ay sinuportahan ng mga opisyal ng Barangay, Barangay Tanod, at Barangay Health Workers (BHW).

Bilang bahagi ng pagsasanay, nagsagawa ng simulation kung saan ipinakita ang tamang proseso ng pag-alerto, paglikas, at pagprotekta sa mga mag-aaral at school personnel. Agad namang tumugon ang mga miyembro ng Barangay Peace and Order Team sa pamumuno ni Kapitan Jeramel Pulanco kasama si Kagawad Edwin Hernandez Mejollo, mga Barangay Tanod, at Barangay Health Workers upang magsagawa ng coordinated response operation.

Matapos maisagawa ang evacuation procedure, isinagawa rin ang basic first aid demonstration at emergency response activities para sa mga mag-aaral na kunwaring naapektuhan ng insidente. Layunin nitong mabigyan ng praktikal na kaalaman ang mga kalahok kung paano kumilos nang mahinahon at ligtas sa panahon ng krisis.

Nakibahagi rin sa aktibidad ang mga opisyal ng School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), mga magulang, at iba pang stakeholders upang higit pang mapalakas ang koordinasyon at pagtutulungan ng paaralan at komunidad sa usapin ng kaligtasan ng mga bata.

Ayon kay Kagawad Edwin Mejollo, mahalaga ang pagsasagawa ng mga ganitong uri ng drill upang madagdagan ang kamalayan at kahandaan ng mga mag-aaral at mamamayan sa anumang insidenteng maaaring magdulot ng panganib sa loob ng paaralan.

"Sa pamamagitan ng mga safety drill na ito, natututuhan ng ating mga mag-aaral ang tamang pagresponde sa mga sitwasyong pang-emergency. Mahalaga rin ang pakikipagtulungan ng mga magulang, g**o, at barangay upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat bata," ani Mejollo.

Ipinakita ng matagumpay na aktibidad ang matatag na pagtutulungan ng Busngol Elementary School, Barangay Government Unit, SPTA, mga magulang, at iba pang katuwang sa komunidad sa pagsusulong ng isang ligtas, handa, at matatag na kapaligiran sa pag-aaral para sa lahat ng mag-aaral.

𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒍 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 🍎🌿

Masaya at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng Nutrition Month 2026 sa Busngol Elementary School! Nakiisa ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at mga magulang sa iba't ibang aktibidad na nagtaguyod ng wastong nutrisyon at malusog na pamumuhay.

Kabilang sa mga naging tampok ang Cooking Contest, Healthy Food Table Presentation, iba't ibang palatuntunan at pagtatanghal, at mga masayang laro na nagbigay ng dagdag kaalaman tungkol sa kahalagahan ng masustansyang pagkain.

Naging espesyal din ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 na isinagawa sa tulong at suporta ng 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙖. 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙨. Nagkaroon din ng demonstration ng wastong paghuhugas ng kamay at pagsisipilyo upang higit na mapaigting ang kalinisan at pangangalaga sa kalusugan ng mga bata.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at tumulong upang maging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang. Tunay na sa pagtutulungan, mas napapalakas natin ang kamalayan ng mga kabataan tungkol sa wastong nutrisyon at malusog na pamumuhay.

Sa naturang seremonya, pormal na nanumpa ang mga bagong halal na opisyal ng School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) na mangunguna sa pagsusulong ng mga programa at gawaing makatutulong sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng paaralan.

In observance of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, Busngol Elementary School proudly participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony on July 6, 2026.

Marking a decade of victory through law, not force. The July 12, 2016 Arbitral Award affirmed that the Philippines can defend its maritime rights peacefully, through United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), evidence, and principled action. It protects coastal communities, livelihoods, and one of the world’s richest marine environments, reminding us that sovereignty is also about food security and future opportunities for every Filipino family. Ten years on, its message is clear: principles matter, lawful action matters, and a rules-based order benefits all nations.
