Just In | The Vibora Ex-EIC shines at SBPC; 2 awards clinched

Congratulations to our former Editor-in-Chief and Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) Qualifier, Klein Dane C. Tamarez for winning two categories in the School-based Press Conference held at Llanera National High School.

Tamarez bagged the First Place in Column Writing English and the Second Place in Editorial Writing English.

Well done, Klein!

GRES Alumnus crowned Mister Pearl of the Pacific Taiwan 2026 – Tourism

LLANERA, Nueva Ecija — Former Gen. Ricarte Elementary School (GRES) learner Fredirick Ortega Mayo brought pride to his hometown after earning the title Mister Pearl of the Pacific Taiwan 2026 – Tourism.

Hailing from the Municipality of Llanera, Nueva Ecija, known as the Rice Granary of the Philippines and home to the Banuar A Mannalon Festival, Mayo represented his roots on the international stage and captured several special awards throughout the competition.

Among his distinctions were Best in Production Number, Best in Pearl Gala Attire, Best in Formal Wear, Mister Close-Up Smile, Netizens’ Choice Award, Mister Darling of the Crowd, and Best Designer Award.

He also received special recognitions from various organizations, including the Zaina Cosmetics and Beauty Collections Choice Award, Tribu Grill Choice Award, New Star Pinoy Clinic Choice Award, Jude’s Perfume Collection Choice Award, and ETQT Taiwan Choice Award.

Mayo’s achievement has become a source of pride for GRES and the Llanera community, showcasing the talent, confidence, and determination of a homegrown Llanerano on the international stage.
