CELA Ministry

Today, we rejoice in the holy 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 — 𝙀𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙡, God with us. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and His light shines in the darkness, bringing hope, peace, and everlasting love to the world.

Yet even in this sacred season, some hearts are heavy, some are quietly struggling — and that is okay.

In commemoration of the Month of the Holy Rosary, Lipa City Colleges will conduct a 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 headed by CELA Ministry. This ceremony will be held at 𝗟𝗖𝗖 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟯 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻. We encourage your presence in this event.

In today's gospel, it shows how we ask for proof before we believe, but this reminds us to always put our faith in our Lord. There may be times that we are scared and do not understand his plans for us, but that is the time when our faith is getting stronger because we are still trusting him even if we do not know what will happen. It is not about immediate glory, but it is about patience, how prayer works, and how we have lived in response to his calling.

It also encourages us to give thought to how we are using the gifts that God has given us. It challenges us to be diligent in our service and trust that come from using what we have for God's glory.

Today's gospel reminds us that even you are a sinner and insignificant to the eyes of people , God will always love you and never leave you. The same to what Jesus did to Zacchaeus. In this life that full of temptation and chaos, God choose to believe and call us to be close to him.

We should repent and change for the better life with God. Let us not let our fear, past, guilt, and shame be a hindrance and stops up from responding and close to our God.

God, bless us with wisdom and eyes for us to see your guiding light in our life. Let our humble heart be open to your invitation to come to you. Help us to pursue you with the same eagerness, overcoming any obstacles in our way. May we joyfully welcome you into our lives and homes, just as Zacchaeus did. Transform our hearts, leading us to repentance and generosity. Let us reflect your love by reaching out to those who feel lost or unworthy.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away, are a powerful reminder of the enduring nature of his message. His words offer us hope, guidance, and comfort in the face of uncertainty. They remind us that even in the midst of change and upheaval, the truth of God's love and promise of salvation will remain constant.

When things gets tough and we feel that we can't do it anymore we just need to always remember and keep in our mind that we don’t have to go it alone. Instead, turn to the Lord who will ‘sustain’ you and help you get through it because by his glorious name we can defeat and overcome all our struggles and burdens even if it's complicated. We just need to always have a regular prayer because are God always wanted us to seek him at all times not just in times that we are struggling. Also, keeping God in our heart is a great way to keep our spirits up when you experience struggles or burdens in our life.
