On May 8, 2026, as we celebrated our Feast Day as one Canossian Family, the St. Magdalene of Canossa Outreach Scholars who volunteered as members of the Canossian Volunteers of the Philippines (CVP) organized a Socialization Activity for the children whom they had taught catechesis for nine days.

The celebration was filled with prayer, games, dances, and the giving of school supplies and bags from a generous sponsor. Delicious food lovingly prepared by our volunteer mothers was also shared with everyone.

Afterward, we attended the Eucharistic Celebration at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Saint Sebastian Parish, in honor of St. Magdalene of Canossa. The Mass was presided over by Msgr. Ruben Dimaculangan and concelebrated by Fr. Romy Mendoza.

The celebration continued as food was shared with vendors and street dwellers outside the church. Truly, it was a beautiful celebration of love, service, and unity as we continue the mission of St. Magdalene of Canossa: "𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱.”

Medical Mission and Free Legal Assistance
“Canossians: Hands that Heal, Hearts that Love”

In celebration of the Feast Day of St. Magdalene of Canossa and Canossa Academy Lipa’s 60th Foundation Anniversary, a Medical Mission was held on May 3, 2026, serving the sick and the poor.

The day began with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr. Aren Bejasa, OSJ, followed by free medical consultations by 20 doctors from various specializations, including Dr. Joyce Tenorio Javier, Dr. Antonio Faltado Jr., and Dr. Zillien Andal, along with laboratory services, medicines, and basic goods. Free legal assistance was also provided by alumni lawyers.

Led by Alumni Batch 2001 and supported by partner organizations and volunteers, this initiative reflected true faith in action—serving with compassion and love.

Feast of St. Joseph the Worker: A Day of Gratitude for Our Beloved Drivers

On May 1, 2026, as we celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, we honored our dear drivers who, like St. Joseph, serve quietly and faithfully. Day by day, they bring us safely to our destinations, working tirelessly to provide for their families despite many challenges, especially the rising cost of gasoline.

With grateful hearts, we thanked them for their sacrifices, dedication, and service through the giving of cooked food and eggs.

This initiative was made possible through the generosity of kind-hearted individuals, especially Mrs. Jenny Coronado and her family for their gift of 150 trays of eggs, as well as those who extended financial support. We are also deeply grateful to our volunteers who generously offered their time and energy in preparing and distributing the food.

May our drivers continue to feel our gratitude and love. They are seen, appreciated, and truly valued.
