Washed out by the weather, but never out of game. 🌧️🏸

Due to continuous inclement weather, please be advised that merchandise claiming scheduled for Term 3 of AY ’25-’26 has been officially moved to Term 1 AY of’26-’27.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Please know that these unfavorable conditions do not help with our org operations, hindering us from efficiently preparing and distributing your orders.

Despite the postponement, we want to ensure you still have access to your BADSOC merchandise. The option for delivery remains open. For those interested, please reach out to our pages for further details regarding the delivery request and associated costs. 🚚

MEMBERS RECOGNITION: Animofest Awardees

Recognized last July 15 at the Henry Sy Sr. Pardo Hall, members of the Elite Team showcased exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the 2026 DLSU PUSO Animofest, earning podium finishes and remarkable achievements while proudly representing their respective colleges on one of the university’s biggest stages.

🏆 Champion - RVRCOB Royals: JB Ulpindo | Xian Tan | Eyla Dilig
🥈 First Runner Up - CLA All Stars: Bill Ibutnande | Nicole Gepes
🥉 Second Runner Up - GCOE Swing: Thomas Terceño | Nico Suarez

Adding to these remarkable achievements, JB Ulpindo and Eyla Dilig dominated the Mixed Doubles division with a perfect 7–0 record, with Eyla Dilig remaining undefeated in Women’s Doubles with a 7–0 run. Bill Ibutnande also capped off an impressive Men’s Doubles run with a triumphant 6–0 record.

Congratulations to all our awardees! Your BADSOC family is proud to celebrate this milestone with you. 💚🏸

MATCH POINT: FOR THE CROWN 🏸🏆

The final shuttle has fallen. Last July 5, Day 3 of the Animofest 2026 Badminton Tournament brought the competition to a close at the Enrique M. Razon Sports Center as the remaining four colleges battled for the championship. With the title on the line, every rally demanded composure, every point carried greater stakes, and every match proved that only one team would rise above the rest.

Undefeated from start to finish, the RVRCOB Royals completed a flawless 9-0 run to claim the Animofest 2026 Badminton Championship. The CLA All Stars secured second place, followed by GCOE Swing in third, with the CCS Pythons rounding out the final standings. All colleges raised the level of competition and showcased true Lasallian spirit on and off the court.

The shuttlecock may be light, but every swing reflects dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. This July 5, we celebrate World Badminton Day, honoring a sport that brings people together through every serve, rally, and smash.

Today, let’s honor every player who has poured their heart into the sport and continue inspiring others to embrace an active lifestyle, one rally at a time.
