The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Officers of Baay National High School proudly inititated a School Beautification Activity through the planting of ornamental plants in support of the "Thousand Blooms" (also known as "Let a Million Flowers Bloom") Initiativeโa nationwide environmental program that encourages schools to become greener, more vibrant, and biodiversity-friendly learning spaces.
More than adding color to our campus, this initiative nurtures environmental stewardship, promotes sustainable practices, and reminds every learner that meaningful change begins with simple acts of care for nature.
As student leaders, our YES-O officers continue to demonstrate that protecting the environment is not just an advocacyโit is a shared responsibility and a way of life. Every flower planted today symbolizes hope, growth, and our commitment to creating a healthier and more inspiring learning environment for present and future generations.
Together, let us continue to bloom with purpose, cultivate responsibility, and build a greener Baay National High Schoolโone plant, one garden, and one learner at a time.
