Driven by a shared dedication to student success, dedicated educators from Licuan-Baay Central School, Agat Primary School, and Bulbulala Primary School united for the Clustered In-Service Training (INSET) 2026, anchored on the theme "𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙀𝘿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝙀𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨’ 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩-𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨." The Provincial Government of Abra suspends onsite face-to-face classes in all public and private schools from Kindergarten to Senior High School on August 17, 2026, upon the recommendation of DepEd-Abra, to ensure the safety and well-being of learners and school personnel.

Schools are advised to implement Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), when conditions permit, in accordance with DepEd guidelines.

This is pursuant to DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024, particularly Section 1, Article I, which provides for the suspension of in-person classes during disasters and emergencies while ensuring learning continuity through appropriate alternative delivery modalities.

In accordance with the Public Advisory issued by the Provincial Government of Abra, classes at all levels in both public and private schools remain suspended today, August 6, 2026 (Thursday).

The safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and school personnel remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to stay indoors when possible, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official announcements from the Provincial Government of Abra and the Department of Education for further updates.

Although classes are suspended, let us continue to value learning by reading books, reviewing previous lessons, and spending meaningful time with our families while staying safe.

📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY | August 5, 2026

In accordance with the advisory issued by the Provincial Government of Abra and following the Department of Education's guidelines, classes from Kindergarten to Grade 10 in all public and private schools in the Province of Abra are suspended today, August 5, 2026, due to Tropical Storm and the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals No. 1 and No. 2.

The AGAT PRIMARY SCHOOL family encourages all parents, learners, and school personnel to prioritize their safety by staying indoors, remaining alert, and monitoring updates from official government agencies.

Although classes are suspended, learning continues beyond the classroom. Learners are encouraged to spend time reading books, reviewing previous lessons, and helping their families while staying safe at home.

The Department of Education reminds all parents, learners, teachers, and stakeholders to stay informed about the updated guidelines on class suspensions during emergencies brought about by typhoons, heavy rainfall, earthquakes, extreme heat, power interruptions, and other hazards.

These guidelines are designed to ensure the safety, well-being, and continuous learning of every learner while minimizing disruptions to education.

📌 Key Reminders: ✅ Always monitor official announcements from DepEd, your Local Government Unit (LGU), and PAGASA.
