𝗗𝗔𝗡 𝗚𝗜𝗟𝗠𝗔𝗥 Gregorio 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗢, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲

With his positive impact and contribution to his peers and the community through leadership and excellence, Libertad National Vocational School (LNVS) graduate and former Libertad National Vocational School (LNVS) Ang Pagrara Editor-in-Chief and former Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Auditor, Dan Gilmar Gregorio Delgado, was conferred as one of the awardees of the 41st Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA), held today, March 22, at the Schools Division of Antique Office.

Delgado served as the Editor-in-Chief of the LNVS Ang Pagrara Publication for three consecutive school years, 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026. During his term, he showed strong leadership and commitment to the publication, leading the production of digital publications and mentoring fellow campus journalists not only in school but in the entire district of Libertad.
Under his leadership, the publication also released its first ever special edition, the Banigan Newsletter, released in 2025.

Aside from his journalism leadership, Delgado also served the entire LNVS community through his involvement in various campus organizations. He was elected Math Club Vice President during his Grade 9 year (S.Y. 2022–2023) and later served as the school’s SSLG Auditor from 2023 to 2026.

In terms of academic and other curricular achievements, Delgado earned several recognitions from local to regional levels.

Moreover, while attending the YLEA awarding ceremony earlier today, Delgado also received the news that he successfully passed the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT).

Delgado truly stands as a true embodiment of leadership and excellence.

100% 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞

Libertad National Vocational School (LNVS) recorded a 100% passing rate in the Cookery National Certificate (NC) II Assessment, with all 13 NC candidates successfully passing the evaluation held at Verde Grande College, Inc., Kalibo, Aklan, on March 18–19.

The Palarong Pambansa 2026 is set to take place from May 24 to 31, 2026, in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

One of our former students, Shanley King Tenorio Peralta, who placed second in both the 1,500-meter and 800-meter runs during the Western Visayas Athletic Association Meet 2026 held in Passi City, Iloilo, is set to compete in the national event.

Let us offer our prayers and support as Shanley competes and carries the pride of the municipality, the province of Antique, and the entire Western Visayas.

As Antique looks toward the future, these awardees stand not only as honorees, but as benchmarks of what youth leadership can and should be— credible, committed, and transformative.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗟𝗡𝗩𝗦 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀

LIBERTAD, ANTIQUE – Years after walking the same stage as a student, Class 2010 Salutatorian Mariannie Suclan Dujali-Howlader returned to Libertad National Vocational School (LNVS) as a commencement speaker, inspiring the graduates through her stories during the 9th Graduation Exercises held at LNVS Covered Court 1, March 31.

Dujali shared her past experiences, telling the audience that just like many others, she was also once a financially struggling learner.

“I came from a family that did not have much, and there were times I went to school carrying more than just my bag, I carried worries. Worries about money. Worries about the future. Worries if I would ever make it…But one day, I realized something that changed my life: Hindi hadlang ang kahirapan para mangarap. Puwede kang magsimula sa wala… at makarating sa mas mataas,” Dujali said.

Dujali’s words landed with weight among the audience, highlighting on her speech the value of determination amidst trials.

“Being poor is not the end of your story. Sometimes it is where your strength is built. Every hardship I experienced became my teacher. When life was hard, I learned to be strong. When I had little, I learned to be grateful. When I felt like giving up, I learned to keep going,” she added.

Dujali recognized the skills and training LNVS had given them, but she was equally clear that skills alone are not enough.

Meanwhile, relating her message to the graduation theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” she urged graduates to carry their training and values into a world that will test them beyond school.

“It was not competence alone that changed my life. It was character,” she emphasized, noting that resilience, perseverance, and determination helped her move forward despite difficulties.

Then, she paused to look beyond the graduates, toward the parents and teachers at the venue. With visible sincerity, she acknowledged the quiet sacrifices behind every diploma, the long nights and unspoken worries that no one ever fully sees.

“To the parents, maraming salamat po. Alam namin na hindi naging madali ang lahat. Your sacrifices, your sleepless nights, your hard work, this moment is yours too. To the teachers, you did more than teach. You believed in students who sometimes did not believe in themselves. And as an alumna, I stand here as proof that what you do matters,” she said.

Before she ended her speech, Dujali once again reminded the graduates to pursue their dreams despite life’s adversities.

“There will be rejection. There will be failure. But please… do not give up,” she reminded them.

As the ceremony came to a close, her story stood as a powerful reminder that success is not defined by one’s beginnings, but by the strength to rise above challenges, leaving graduates inspired to write their own stories of triumph.
