โFood at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority!โ Nutrition Month 2025 Celebration 2025
July is declared as Nutrition Month under Presidential Decree No. 491, highlighting the vital role of proper nutrition in nation-building. For this year 2025, the National Nutrition Council (NNC) adopted the theme, "Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority!", a timely reminder that access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food is not a privilege but a right and a priority for every Filipino.
Furthermore, this celebration aims to amplify efforts in schools to educate learners and their families on sustainable food systems, healthy eating practices, and the pressing issue of food insecurity in many communities. Through engaging, creative, and values-integrated activities, we seek to nurture a generation that is not only nutritionally aware but also actively contributes to community wellness.
