ANNOUNCEMENT | SHS Voucher Program Application

The application for the SHS Voucher Program for incoming Grade 11 students in SY 2026-2027 will open soon.

Please be informed that the Department of Education, through Department Order No. 11, s. 2026, instituted some changes on the eligibility of applicants starting SY 26-27. You may access the full text of DO 11 through this link: https://www.deped.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/DO_s2026_011r.pdf.

In preparation for the opening of the online application, the PEAC is issuing preliminary information to guide learners and parents as to who are eligible, what are the categories of applicants, where to apply based on the category, how to apply through Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP), and what documents need to be submitted (Step 5).

We shall announce the opening of the application via OVAP as soon as DepEd releases the application timeline.

ORAL DEFENSE ANNOUNCEMENT | The Senior High School Department would like to announce the oral defense of the Grade 12 students of Leyte Progressive High School, Inc. on March 14, 2026.

BE A PROGRESSIONIST NOW! | Leyte Progressive High School, Inc. was honored to have been invited as one of the schools to talk during the Career Guidance program of Palo National High School (PNHS) in Palo, Leyte, today, March 10, 2026.

The career guidance showcased the "future" selves of the Grade 10 learners of PNHS. Ranging from flight attendants to policemen to teachers, the students gave it their all.

During the school's turn to talk, Mr. Tupaz showcased what LPHSI has to offer for SY 2026-2027, especially with the implementation of the Strengthened SHS Program starting next school year.

PROMOTION | Your future looks bright with LPHSI Strengthened SHS (SSHS) Program!

After the pilot implementation of the SSHS program in selected schools nationwide, all public and private schools will now formally implement the revamped SHS curriculum that is now streamlined and prepares learners either for the workforce or further education.

For SY 2026-2027, classes will start on June 8, 2026.
