As the new academic year started, a new breed of leaders has also awaited to lead the whole college community. It is the aim of the Scholastican Student Council to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects for them to create an atmosphere that promotes students’ involvement in the council, different clubs and other activities in the SSCTI community 💙📚📝

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻-𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀!

In a moment of immense pride and accomplishment, the new batch of Scholastican nurses has emerged triumphant in the highly anticipated May 2023 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination. These talented individuals have proven their mettle by securing exceptional results, showcasing their unwavering dedication and commitment to the noble profession of nursing.

With that, in the recently concluded May 2023 PNLE, SSCTI produced fourteen (14) first time takers, and three (3) repeaters, a total of seventeen (17) board passers. Overall, the SSCTI College of Nursing got an 85% performance rate.

The Scholastican nurses showcased their resolute determination, coupled with the rigorous education they received, which has equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the demanding field of healthcare.

A heartfelt congratulations to these accomplished nurses, who are now ready to embark on their professional journey, making a significant impact on the healthcare landscape and providing compassionate care to those in need.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝐒𝐓. 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀!

On the 10th of February, the Catholic Church remembers St. Scholastica, a nun who was the twin sister of St. Benedict, the "father of monasticism" in Western Europe.

The siblings were born around 480 to a Roman noble family in Nursia, Italy. Scholastica seems to have devoted herself to God from her earliest youth, as the account of Benedict's life by Pope Gregory the Great mentions that his sister was "dedicated from her infancy to Our Lord."
