A FAREWELL MESSAGE FROM OUR OUTGOING SSG PRESIDENT
The emergence of this pandemic drastically reshaped the educational landscape of our school. These unprecedented times came out of the blue and the changes that we experienced caught us off guard. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting nearly every aspect of our lives and has demanded abrupt changes in the status quo. It has been a grueling journey but we still managed to pull it off. We had great plans for the student body of the school and projects to be put forward, unfortunately the pandemic hindered us from implementing it. The SSG Organization has been profoundly affected by the pandemic but we remained steadfast to keep it afloat.
Today, I will now officially relinquish my position to my predecessor. Just like an aesthetic poem, it has always an ending no matter how beautiful it is. I'd like to take this chance to acknowledge and thank my colleagues in SSG, Mariz, Monica, Michelle, Shaira, Rochelle, Jason, Earl, Allayza, Erica Mae, Trisha Nicole, Honey Rose, Crystabelle, Shanylle, Hanson, Joemer and Ruben for their tolerance, patience and support.
To Sir Bart, our SSG Adviser, we owe you a debt of thanks. You may be outwardly intimidating (sometimes hehe) but I know that you have a pure heart and kind soul. You often enliven the atmosphere with your witty jokes. Thank you for the support, motivation, understanding, love and care.
To the entire JNHS Family, thank you so much for the unwavering support. Thank you Jugaban NHS for the amazing years that I've spent with this institution. This school has been my world for over six years and it created a myriad of fondest memories and experiences for me.
I'm really hoping that the new set of SSG officers will thrive and create an enduring path to be followed by the next set of officers even though we are in the midst of trying times. I'm now embarking on a new chapter but the memories from my beloved Alma Mater will always have a very special place in my heart. Thank you very much and farewell! ♥️
With much sincerity,
Jonel, Outgoing President
