Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-84 na Araw ng Kagitingan, ating binibigyang-pugay ang katapangan at kabayanihan ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano na lumaban sa Bataan noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig.

Sa gitna ng matinding labanan at pagsubok, ipinamalas nila ang walang kapantay na tapang at sakripisyo—na humantong sa Bataan Death March, isang masakit na yugto ng kasaysayan na nagpatunay ng kanilang tibay at wagas na pagmamahal sa bayan.

Ang tema ngayong taon na “Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi” ay paalala na ang kanilang kagitingan ang naging pundasyon ng kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon. Nawa’y magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang patuloy tayong mamuhay nang may dangal, malasakit, at pananagutan sa kapwa. ✨
