Seminar on RA 10627: Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 🛡️
On June 26, 2026, Nuestra Señora Del Refugio Parochial School, Inc. successfully conducted the Seminar on RA 10627: Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 at the school campus, bringing together our Nursery, Kindergarten, Grade 1–10 learners, teachers, parents, and school staff in a shared commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
The seminar aimed to deepen everyone's understanding of the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627), raise awareness of the different forms of bullying, encourage empathy and respect among learners, and emphasize the importance of speaking up and reporting bullying incidents. Through this initiative, the school continues to strengthen its commitment to protecting the well-being of every learner and fostering a culture of kindness and respect.
We were privileged to have our esteemed resource speakers:
👮 PCPT Anthony D. Francisco, OIC, and Jay-ar S. Banghanoy of the PNP-Dulag, who delivered an informative discussion on the Anti-Bullying Act and the role of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and protection of children; and
🤝Ma'am Meldred C. Matol, RSW, who shared valuable insights on promoting empathy, healthy relationships, positive behavior, and emotional well-being among learners.
The seminar featured engaging activities, including interactive discussions, role-playing, an open forum, and a question-and-answer session that encouraged active participation from our learners. These meaningful activities empowered participants to recognize the different forms of bullying, understand its impact, know the proper ways to report incidents, and work together in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our dedicated resource speakers for generously sharing their knowledge and inspiring our school community. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Hon. Mayor Jade A. Agullo for the continued support of programs that promote the welfare, protection, and holistic development of our learners.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Rev. Fr. Irwin P. Gavilo, School Director/School Principal, for his steadfast leadership, guidance, and unwavering support in making this seminar possible. His commitment to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment continues to inspire our entire school community.
Special thanks are extended to our wonderful emcees, Ma'am Rosie Jane A. Bautista and Ma'am Joyce C. Divino, for facilitating the program with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Our sincere appreciation likewise goes to the parents who took the time to attend and actively participate in this important activity. Your presence, cooperation, and partnership with the school play a vital role in nurturing learners who are respectful, compassionate, and responsible members of the community.
Finally, we thank our documentation team Ma'am Jessa Mae C. Abrera, Sir Jay Mar Q. Gio, and Ma'am Joyce C. Divino for beautifully capturing the memorable moments of this meaningful event.
