✨ School Project Turnover ✨

We are grateful to share another meaningful school project made possible through the dedication of our GPTA Officers, led by our current GPTA President, Ma'am Lovelee D. Fernan, with the valued support of our former GPTA President, Ma'am. Honeylen D. Lavilla.

As part of this initiative, the school received one (1) JBL speaker and two (2) wireless microphones to support school programs, activities, and events.

Our heartfelt thanks to our School Director/School Principal, Rev. Fr. Irwin P. Gavilo, MAT, for his unwavering guidance and support in making this project a success.

Together, we continue to strengthen our school community and provide a better learning environment for our students.

💙 A lunch break is meant for rest.

Teachers spend hours teaching, preparing lessons, checking papers, attending meetings, and supporting their learners. Like everyone else, they also need time to pause and recharge.

Before judging a single moment captured in a photo or video, remember that it rarely tells the whole story.

Let's promote empathy, respect, and understanding—not just for teachers, but for everyone who works hard each day.

"Resting during a lunch break isn't unprofessional—it's what lunch breaks are for." 🍽️📚

Seminar on RA 10627: Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 🛡️

On June 26, 2026, Nuestra Señora Del Refugio Parochial School, Inc. successfully conducted the Seminar on RA 10627: Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 at the school campus, bringing together our Nursery, Kindergarten, Grade 1–10 learners, teachers, parents, and school staff in a shared commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

The seminar aimed to deepen everyone's understanding of the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627), raise awareness of the different forms of bullying, encourage empathy and respect among learners, and emphasize the importance of speaking up and reporting bullying incidents. Through this initiative, the school continues to strengthen its commitment to protecting the well-being of every learner and fostering a culture of kindness and respect.

We were privileged to have our esteemed resource speakers:
👮 PCPT Anthony D. Francisco, OIC, and Jay-ar S. Banghanoy of the PNP-Dulag, who delivered an informative discussion on the Anti-Bullying Act and the role of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and protection of children; and
🤝Ma'am Meldred C. Matol, RSW, who shared valuable insights on promoting empathy, healthy relationships, positive behavior, and emotional well-being among learners.

The seminar featured engaging activities, including interactive discussions, role-playing, an open forum, and a question-and-answer session that encouraged active participation from our learners. These meaningful activities empowered participants to recognize the different forms of bullying, understand its impact, know the proper ways to report incidents, and work together in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our dedicated resource speakers for generously sharing their knowledge and inspiring our school community. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Hon. Mayor Jade A. Agullo for the continued support of programs that promote the welfare, protection, and holistic development of our learners.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Rev. Fr. Irwin P. Gavilo, School Director/School Principal, for his steadfast leadership, guidance, and unwavering support in making this seminar possible. His commitment to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment continues to inspire our entire school community.

Special thanks are extended to our wonderful emcees, Ma'am Rosie Jane A. Bautista and Ma'am Joyce C. Divino, for facilitating the program with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Our sincere appreciation likewise goes to the parents who took the time to attend and actively participate in this important activity. Your presence, cooperation, and partnership with the school play a vital role in nurturing learners who are respectful, compassionate, and responsible members of the community.

Finally, we thank our documentation team Ma'am Jessa Mae C. Abrera, Sir Jay Mar Q. Gio, and Ma'am Joyce C. Divino for beautifully capturing the memorable moments of this meaningful event.

At Nuestra Señora Del Refugio Parochial School, Inc., we firmly believe that every child deserves to learn in an environment where they feel safe, valued, respected, and empowered. By working hand in hand school, families, and the community we can build a culture where bullying has no place and kindness always prevails.

💙 Together, let's build a bully-free school.
🗣️ Choose kindness. Speak up. Stand together.

Our schools do not just need better security, stricter policies, or more information. Young people need hope. They need truth. They need to know that their lives have meaning and that peace is found not merely in success, popularity, or achievement, but in Christ.

This is why I thank God for every Christian ministry, campus missionary, Bible study, prayer group, and faithful believer sharing the gospel with students.

Because behind the anxiety, loneliness, violence, and confusion that many young people carry is a deeper spiritual hunger that only Jesus can satisfy.🙌🏻

The gospel does more than change behavior. It changes hearts. I know this personally. SGCM Philippines campus ministry introduced me to Jesus fifteen years ago, and that encounter changed the course of my life forever.

So let us keep praying for our schools. Let us support those reaching students. Let us keep bringing the good news to the next generation.🙌🏻

Because transformed hearts build transformed lives, and transformed lives can change the world. 🤎
