🙏 FIRST FRIDAY MASS & BIBLE SHARING | AUGUST 2026 📖

Makinhas National High School held its First Friday Mass for the month of August, followed by a meaningful Bible Sharing with our school community. 🕊️📖

This gathering gave us a moment to pause, pray, reflect, and listen to God’s Word. Through the celebration of the Holy Mass and the sharing of faith, we are reminded to live with kindness, gratitude, compassion, and love for one another.

May the message we received continue to guide us throughout our daily lives and inspire us to grow not only as learners but also as individuals with strong faith and good values. ❤️

🇵🇭 Maligayang Buwan ng Wika 2026! 🇵🇭

Ang wika ay salamin ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, inaanyayahan ng Makinhas National High School ang lahat na pahalagahan at ipagmalaki ang Wikang Filipino at ang ating mga katutubong wika. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating mayamang kultura at panatilihing buhay ang ating sariling wika.

Reminder lang mula sa inyong SSLG: tuwing Lunes ngayong buwan ng Agosto, magsuot tayo ng Pilipinong kasuotan bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026

Panahon na para ilabas ang mga barong at Filipiniana na ilang taon nang nagpapahinga sa aparador. Huwag kayong mag-alala, hindi ito audition para sa Maria Clara at Ibarra. 😭😂

At para sa mga walang Filipiniana o barong, puwede ring magsuot ng anumang kasuotang nagpapakita ng ating kulturang Pilipino. Ang mahalaga ay ang pakikiisa at pagmamalaki sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Kaya naman, mga ka-Makinhasians, huwag hayaang kayo lang ang naka-uniform habang ang iba ay mukhang mga ilustrado. 😎

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) successfully conducted the School Values and Policies Awareness Program, highlighted by the launch of Project GABAY and its Behavior Improvement Slip (BIS) by our SSLG Adviser, Ma'am Clarence Claire D. De Leon. The program also featured orientations on the Anti-Bullying and Child Protection Policies, the No Smoking and No Va**ng Policy, and the SSLG and YES-O school rules and regulations led by our SSLG President, Lhyza Jane Serot.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ma'am Mylen T. Castañeros, Guidance Advocate, our Grade Level Advisers, and especially Mr. Sergio T. Paña for their unwavering support.
