Itinalaga na ngayong araw ang bagong hanay ng School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) officers na handang magsilbi, makinig, at kumilos para sa ikabubuti ng Lemery Senior High School (LSHS).

Kaakibat ang pangakong pagkakaisa at malasakit, aarangkada na ang bagong pamunuan, tungo sa mas matatag na ugnayan ng mga magulang at paaralan.

𝑳𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔 is a serious bacterial disease that can affect both humans and animals, often presenting with "flu-like" symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, and muscle pain, which can be mistaken for other illnesses like dengue, typhoid, or viral hepatitis.

To minimize your risk of infection, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the following preventive measures:

✅ Wear Protective Clothing: Utilize boots and other waterproof gear when in areas prone to contamination.

✅ Cover Skin Lesions: Protect cuts and abrasions with waterproof dressings.

✅ Avoid Contaminated Water: Do not wade or swim in water that may be contaminated with animal urine.

✅ Practice Good Hygiene: Wash or shower thoroughly after potential exposure and clean wounds promptly.

✅ Avoid Sick or Dead Animals: Do not touch sick or deceased animals, as they can carry the bacteria.

✅ Ensure Clean Drinking Water: Consume only treated or clean drinking water.

By adhering to these guidelines, individuals can significantly reduce their risk of contracting leptospirosis.

Freedom of speech is a controversial topic especially in political and professional grounds—however, it is with great pride that we say campuses are no longer tied to such ordeals.
