The STREET (Skills Training for Resilient Educators, Extensionists and Technologists) Extension Project successfully conducted its second workshop under the 2-part 𝐀𝐈-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 webinar series entitled:

🤖 𝐀𝐈-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞

The activity brought together approximately 90 educators and school personnel from various schools across 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙗𝙮, 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙪𝙖 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙖. While some participants gathered at a common venue, others joined individually online, demonstrating the commitment of PNG educators to continuous learning and professional development.

Participants explored practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in education through sessions on:

✅ AI for Teaching Tasks
✅ Prompt Engineering and Understanding Feedback in Learning
✅ Ethics, Integrity, and Responsible AI Use
✅ AI-Integrated Teaching Applications

The workshop provided educators with valuable insights on how AI can be leveraged to enhance teaching effectiveness while maintaining academic integrity, ethical practice, and meaningful student learning.

This activity forms part of the continuing collaboration between 𝑩𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 (𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔) and 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗶 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗣𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮) in empowering educators through innovative and technology-enhanced professional development opportunities.
