On February 27, 2026, the Educational Technology Center successfully conducted its Wellness Walk and Mental Health Activity, participated in by the department’s employees and On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs).

The activity was conducted to promote physical well-being, mental health awareness, and a supportive workplace environment. Through a guided wellness walk and reflective engagement activities, participants were encouraged to prioritize self-care, strengthen interpersonal connections, and foster a culture of balance and positivity within the department.

This initiative underscores the Educational Technology Center’s commitment to holistic development—recognizing that a healthy workforce contributes significantly to productivity, collaboration, and overall institutional excellence.

The department continues to uphold programs that support both professional growth and personal well-being among its personnel and trainees.

As part of their internship training at the Educational Technology Center, the On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Fine Arts (CEAFA), particularly the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) programs, conducted the presentation of their proposed projects as a requirement of their On-the-Job Training program.

During the presentations, the trainees introduced conceptual project proposals featuring innovative and technology-driven ideas developed as part of their ongoing internship training. The presentations focused on the proposed objectives, system concepts, and planned functionalities, highlighting the students’ analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

The activity also provided an opportunity for the OJTs to showcase their learning outcomes, receive professional feedback, and present potential digital solutions that may contribute to educational innovation and operational efficiency within the institution. This initiative reinforces the institution’s commitment to nurturing future technology professionals through experiential learning and industry-aligned training opportunities.

𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 | 𝙁𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙮 18, 2026

The Moodle for Educators Training was successfully conducted on February 18, 2026, at Computer Laboratory A. The activity aimed to enhance the faculty members’ knowledge and skills in utilizing Moodle as an effective Learning Management System (LMS) to support flexible and technology-driven instruction.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Joshua Rey J. Blacer, Programmer of the Educational Technology Center, who provided comprehensive discussions and hands-on guidance on course creation, content organization, activity management, and online assessment tools within the Moodle platform.

Through this professional development initiative, participants gained valuable insights into integrating digital tools to improve instructional delivery, student engagement, and academic monitoring.

The 𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀, Organized by the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 & 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲), held on November 28, 2025, at the ETC Laboratory. Concluded successfully as 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗹 𝗙. 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗜𝗧 - 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, delivered an in-depth discussion on the core principles of Artificial Intelligence and facilitated an activity designed to assess the participants’ learning and practical understanding of various AI tools. The session provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge and apply AI concepts in a hands-on setting.

This is to inform everyone that the City Government of Legazpi, through the Office of the City Mayor, has scheduled the removal of hazardous spaghetti wires and a leaning post located along Rizal Street, Barangay 25, Lapu-Lapu, Legazpi City.

Schedule: October 22–23, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (weather permitting)

This activity is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to ensure public safety, improve the visual landscape, and enhance the reliability of utility services.

Please be advised: There may be temporary service interruptions and limited access in the affected area during the removal period. Students and employees are advised to take necessary precautions and plan accordingly.
