On this Resurrection Sunday, we pause and reflect on God’s great mercy. Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, He has given us new birth into a living hope (1 Peter 1:3, CSB). This reminds us that even in seasons of struggle and uncertainty, hope is not lost—it is alive.

May we carry this hope in our hearts, live with renewed faith, and reflect Christ’s love in all that we do.

On March 31, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government Leadership Training was held, anchored on the theme “𝙉𝙤 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙉𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙: 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣,” highlighting leadership rooted in service, integrity, and commitment.

The program opened with registration facilitated by SSLG Adviser Lea L. Barrameda, followed by preliminary activities led by SSLG Co-Adviser Edward B. Doctama, including prayer, the Philippine National Anthem, and an icebreaker that built unity among officers. Opening remarks were delivered by Madam Annavi M. Maravilla, School Principal I, followed by a message from Mr. Eldrick B. Balino, SSLG Auditor SY 2024–2025 and Vice President SY 2023–2024.

The morning sessions were facilitated by Every Nation Campus, focusing on team-building and values formation. The discussions emphasized leadership with integrity, serving others through inclusivity and listening, and commitment through accountability and consistency, supported by interactive group activities and reflection sharing.

In the afternoon, Madam Lea L. Barrameda led sessions on revisiting SSLG roles and drafting project proposals and formal communication letters. Sir Edward B. Doctama facilitated workshops on promotions, financial and evaluation reports, and protocol management, strengthening organizational competence and accountability.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Sir Michael Angelo M. Delgado, OIC, Assistant School Principal, and was hosted by Anjela M. Neo, Master of Ceremony, followed by awarding and picture taking that captured leaders committed to serving beyond the spotlight through action and purpose. 🌿✨

As we enter this sacred season of Holy Week, we step away from the noise of our daily lives and come together in stillness with our families. We remember the love of the Lord Jesus Christ that is so deep it chose sacrifice, a grace so powerful that it brings healing. In this time of reflection, may we open our hearts, renew our faith, and find meaning in His suffering, carrying His love with us as we move forward, changed and strengthened.

Congratulations on the remarkable achievement of 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, a Grade 10 student under the SPFL–Nihongo program, in the recently concluded 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐓) held in Naga City from March 11-13.

Gabriel secured 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧, an on-the-spot song writing and a capella performance in the SPFL–Nihongo category, showcasing his creativity and passion for language and music.

This achievement highlights the school’s continued commitment to nurturing students’ talents in the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) – Nihongo and promoting artistic expression on the regional stage.
