As authorized by the Office of the Bicol University SUC President IV, the Office of Admissions is pleased to announce the results of the 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 (𝗛𝗶𝗦𝗘𝗧) for 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 in the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 for 𝐒𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐6 – 𝟐𝟎𝟐7. Out of 487 applicants, a total of 𝟰𝟬 students qualified for admission while 𝟭3 students are waitlisted.

Applicants are advised to check their email or visit the iBU website https://ibu.bicol-u.edu.ph/ to view their digitally signed Notice of Result indicating the overall rating they have earned from the recently- concluded screening process. Access the link and print a copy for verification at the Principal’s Office during enrollment.

We are pleased to announce that the Bicol University Admissions Office is 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 its application portal for interested applicants for the Kindergarten Admission Test (KAT).

The application period will be from 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of requirements and issuance of the Test Permit are available on the website.

𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 (𝗞𝗔𝗧):
𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
1. The child is at least 5 years old by October 31 of the current year (DepEd Order no. 20s.2018);

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬:
𝐍𝐨𝐯-𝐃𝐞𝐜 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐚𝐧-𝐎𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

2. The child has completed Nursery or Kinder 1 in any school;
3. The child passed the Kindergarten Admission Test (KAT) administered by the Office of Admissions covering the following developmental areas: physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral.

1. Correctly and completely accomplished KAT Application Form;
2. Recent 2”x2” photograph of the applicant in white background with nametag;
3. One (1) photocopy of Birth Certificate; Bring the original copy for authentication.
4. Certification from the previous school that the child has completed Kinder I or Nursery; or a Certification as proof of current enrollment.
5. ORIGINAL Receipt as proof of payment Php 200.00

PUBLIC ADVISORY | CANCELLATION and NEW SCHEDULE FOR THE BUCET ADMINISTRATION (BU TABACO)

In light of the PDRRMC-APSEMO Advisory 2026-3 on preparedness measures due to Tropical Depression Ada, Bicol University is cancelling the administration of the Bicol University College Entrance Test (BUCET) scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, January 17-18, 2026, at Bicol University Tabaco, Tabaco City. The safety of our students, faculty, and staff remains our priority.
To all BUCET examinees and stakeholders, please be informed of the updated schedule:
Original Schedule:
Saturday | November 15, 2025 / January 17, 2026
Sunday | November 16, 2025 / January 18, 2026

New Schedule
Saturday | January 24, 2026
Sunday | January 25, 2026

Examinees are advised to bring their original test permits and must follow the same assigned day (Saturday or Sunday) and the same time indicated on their test permit.

To all BUCET Applicants:

Please be informed that the BUCET administration originally scheduled on November 30 to December 3, 2025 is postponed to January 12 to 15, 2026.

Based on updates from the Bicol University Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO), our cloud storage provider has been partially restored; however, several features of the online BUCET portal remain disabled, affecting the download, viewing, and generation of BUCET test permits.

To provide sufficient time to fully restore system functionality and to allow applicants to complete the submission of BUCET requirements—many of which have been delayed by recent typhoons and the suspension of work in government offices—we find it necessary and appropriate to defer the test administration.

We are also extending the onsite submission of BUCET application requirements until December 19, 2025 (Friday).

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and assure you that the BUAO and ICTO are working diligently to ensure the system becomes fully operational at the soonest possible time. Further updates will be released through our official channels.
