DWCL SHS - Divine Pixels Club

As part of the 65th Foundation Anniversary celebration, Divine Word College of Legazpi treated its employees to a relaxing and refreshing makeover session on February 11, 2026, at the Fr. Heinrich Burschen, SVD Building. The much-anticipated activity was a meaningful gesture of appreciation for the employees’ hardwork, commitment, and dedication to the institution.

The 65th Foundation Anniversary of Divine Word College of Legazpi officially commenced on February 11, 2026, at the St. Josef Freinademetz Gymnasium. The program began with welcome remarks delivered by Fr. Vicente R. Rayco, SVD, Vice President for Basic Education, followed by the formal declaration, opening the celebration by Fr. Nielo M. Cantilado, SVD, President of the College.

The event unfolded as a vibrant and spirited spectacle, highlighted by a captivating mass demonstration performed by students from the Grade School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and College departments. The gymnasium resonated with energy and enthusiasm as students showcased their synchronized and dynamic performances. It was an inspiring and meaningful opening to the anniversary celebration, truly reflecting the theme, “Divinians, Bearers of Light and Hope.”

SHS FAMILY DAY WITH THE THEME: WEAVING BONDS,BUILDING DREAMS:UNITING FAMILIES FOR A SHARED FUTURE

On February 1, 2026.The Divine Word College of Legazpi, Senior High School Department celebrated the yearly Family Day, through a series of activities, games and raffle.

It was a joyful and meaningful occasion that brought students, parents, and teachers together in the spirit of unity and love. The event served as a reminder of the importance of family as the foundation of support, strength, and inspiration.

And we start the noon with a FLASH! as the Cosplay Competition of each section in the SHS Department hosted by the Public Speakers Club and SHS Library Services make everyone's day as each contestants bring all-time favorite characters to life based from different movies and series.

The universal language of the world—English!

Culminating the light to the beauty of English Week Themed: Uniting Cultures, Linking the World🎞️📸. The SHS Department truly outdid their performances—showcasing bright minds, radiating confidence✨

From impromptu speaking to declamations, every utter of words brings each narrative to life! Truly, this event led by the Public Speakers Club and SHS Library showcase the passion of everyone to treasure literature and showcase brilliance to the world.

In commemoration of DWCL-SHS annual English Week Celebration, led by Public Speakers Club, we witness the battle of wits and see the idiosyncrasies between candidates that fires up the entire event.

From perplexing questions brought by the quiz bee to mind-boggling spellings all honed by intense preparations and browsing of different kinds of text, DPC highlights them all with shots that'll make you feel as if you're part of the competition itself as well as being part of Divine's history that is recorded and truly one for the books.

As if Day 1 and Day 2 didn’t bring enough excitement, Day 3 stormed in with the wildest sports moments this school has ever witnessed! The energy was unreal as students went full sicko mode in their respective sports, unleashing skill, passion, and pure determination on every play. Day two of the Integrated Basic Education Intramurals 2026 featuring teams Astraea✨, Aetherfire🔥, Viridia⛰️ and Solarian☀️ as they enthusiastically conquered through the undeniable pressure of the crowd's soaring roars as they rivaled to hail as the winner, with dignity and grace.

A long, long time ago, the 4 teams lived together in harmony....... But then, everything changed when the Intramurals 2026 commenced

Gracing us and the amenities towards victory by a holy mass in the morning, our day ends with a "BANG!💥" as the gymnasium erupts in cheers and applauses filled with flashing lights and cameras📸 for the annual pageant in search for the Mr. and Miss Intramurals for the Intermediate and Highschool category.

DPC highlights all of these with shots that narrates a captivating story told through imagery and remind us of these moments no matter how long time passes by⏳✨

With the season of giving dawning upon us, the season of Christmas is truly felt with the joy and bonds expressed by students of DWCL - SHS Department as they celebrate their year end Christmas party filled with exciting games and newfound memories captured by the lenses that are truly one for the books🌟
