The International Day for Biological Diversity or the IDBD is being celebrated around the world every May 22 to promote awareness about biodiversity and its connection to our lives.

This year’s theme, “Building a shared future for all life,” is a reminder to all that we are interconnected and woven together in this one big circle called BIODIVERSITY.

Biodiversity remains one of our best allies in resolving several sustainable development challenges and is the foundation on which we can build back better.

Let us work together across all sectors and pitch in our own individual actions for nature to help bend biodiversity loss. Celebrate the richness of our biological diversity not only every May 22 but every day.

Let's all be part of the movement and battle climate change. Here's some ways you can help and some information you need to know. Together, let us try to live a greener life. We only have one Earth. We better protect it. 🌱🌍

As our planet is changing, so is the ocean. 🌎 🌊

Earth’s global sea levels are rising — and at an accelerating rate. Our oceans are absorbing massive amounts of heat trapped by greenhouse gases in Earth’s atmosphere.

This week, scientists are gathering at the Our Ocean conference in Palau to share findings about our planet’s ocean and the ways it is changing.
