Title: Coordination and Deployment of TUPAD Beneficiaries During Brigada Eskwela 2026

Purpose:
To guide the coordination and deployment of TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) beneficiaries in support of Brigada Eskwela 2026 and Opening Block activities for the school year 2026–2027.

4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) beneficiaries are strongly encouraged and expected to participate in the annual Brigada Eskwela.

As part of their community service and conditions in the program, parents volunteer to help public schools prepare for the opening of classes by cleaning, painting, and making minor repairs.

How 4Ps and Brigada Eskwela Connect Community Responsibility: Participating in Brigada Eskwela teaches active citizenship and allows 4Ps parents to fulfill their community service hours, often discussed during Family Development Sessions (FDS).

Bata Balik Eskwela (BBE): During these clean-up drives, 4Ps staff and parent leaders often set up help desks to update beneficiary profiles, track school attendance, and ensure all children enroll for the upcoming academic year.

Safe Learning Spaces: By volunteering, parents directly contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming classrooms for their children.

Common Activities for 4Ps Parents
✅Cleaning and sweeping school grounds Washing windows, walls, and chair

✅Painting school buildings and fences

✅Making minor repairs on school facilities (e.g., fixing broken chairs) Assisting teachers in organizing classrooms

As we prepare to welcome our learners back for another fruitful academic year, we are reminded that it takes a whole village to raise a child—and to build a safe, vibrant learning environment.
With this, LNSCHI warmly invites you to participate in this year’s Brigada Eskwela, happening from June 1 to June 5, 2026.

This year’s theme, "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman", focuses on fostering the spirit of community unity to ensure our school is clean, safe, resilient, and fully ready for our students.

How You Can Help:
• Volunteer Your Time & Skills: Join us in cleaning, painting classrooms, repairing furniture, gardening, and doing minor school maintenance.
• Donate Materials: We are pooling resources for cleaning supplies, paint, cement, hardware tools, and first-aid kits.
• Provide Refreshments: Donations of water and snacks for our hardworking volunteers are highly appreciated.

Schedule of Activities (June 1–5, 2026):
• June 1 (Day 1): Kick-off Ceremony and Initial Cleaning/Segregation
• June 2–4 (Days 2–4): Minor Repairs, Painting, Gardening, and Room Setup

Ano ang "Opening Block"?

Mga magulang, sa darating na pasukan ang 1st week ng pasukan ang tawag ay "Opening Block", ano po ito?

🍀​1. Transition at Adjustment Period
​Ang pangunahing layunin ng Opening Block ay hindi agad sumabak sa mabibigat na lesson o academic discussions. Sa halip, binibigyan ang mga estudyante ng panahon na mag-adjust mula sa bakasyon pabalik sa school routine.

🍀​2. Psychosocial Support at Well-being
​Bahagi ng linggong ito ang mga aktibidad na tumutulong sa mental at emotional health ng mga mag-aaral.
​Icebreakers at Team-building: Para makilala ng mga estudyante ang isa't isa at ang kanilang mga g**o.
​Expressing Emotions: Mga simpleng laro o discussion kung saan nailalabas ng mga bata ang kanilang nararamdaman (hal. excitement o kaba) tungkol sa pagbabalik-eskwela.

🍀​3. Orientation sa School Rules at Pag-uugali
​Dito itinuturo o ipinapaalala ang mga patakaran sa loob ng silid-aralan at ng buong paaralan. Kasama rito ang:
​Classroom rules at grading system.
​Polisiya sa attendance at uniporme.
​Disaster preparedness (ano ang gagawin kapag may lindol o bagyo).

🍀​4. Diagnostic Assessment (Pagtatasa)
​Bago magsimula ang seryosong talakayan sa mga asignatura, ginagamit ng mga g**o ang unang linggo para malaman kung ano na ang alam ng mga bata (baseline knowledge).
​Walang grado ang mga pagsusulit na ito.
​Ginagawa ito para malaman ng g**o kung aling mga paksa ang kailangang balikan (remediation) at kung saan sila magsisimula sa opisyal na curriculum.

🍀​5. Pagbuo ng Routine
​Tinutulungan ng mga g**o ang mga mag-aaral na masanay sa kanilang daily schedule, tamang oras ng pagpasok, at pagsunod sa mga panuto para maging maayos ang daloy ng buong school year.

💝​Sa madaling salita: Ang Opening Block ay parang "welcome at conditioning week." Sinisig**o ng DepEd na handa muna ang isip, emosyon, at katawan ng mga bata bago ibuhos ang mga leksyon, para hindi sila mabigla o ma-stress sa pag-aaral.💝
