📚 Alternative Learning System Learners Prepare for the First Summative Test

On July 3, 2026, learners of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) attended their face-to-face learning session in preparation for the upcoming First Summative Test for Term 1, School Year 2026–2027. Guided by the ALS Coordinator, Aireen C. Leste, the session focused on reviewing essential lessons, reinforcing key concepts, and strengthening learners' readiness for their first major assessment of the term.

As more opportunities for learning continue to open, enrollment for the Alternative Learning System (ALS) remains ongoing at Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades (WCSAT). Individuals who wish to continue or complete their basic education are encouraged to visit the school and take the next step toward achieving their educational goals.

EAGLES IN ACTION!

We are deeply grateful to our generous donors who gave small but meaningful assistance to the recipient students of Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades!

Special thanks to Eagle Anthony Baccay, Eagle Eldridge Garcia, Eagle B**g Pastor, and Eagle Benjie Deza who donated ₱2,800 worth of school uniforms, ₱350 worth of tumblers, and ₱3,000 financial assistance to the students for a total of ₱6,150.

We also extend our sincerest thanks to our School Principal Ma'am Excelsis Pastor, GPTA President Sir Julius Carpio, and Ma'am Jen Arcano for their support.

Empowering WCSAT Through Gender and Development 💜

The Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar 2026 has successfully concluded. Held on June 26–27, 2026, at Farah Beach Resort, Sta. Ana, Cagayan, the seminar brought together the personnel of Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades (WCSAT) under the theme "Empowered Minds, Inclusive Communities."

The seminar aimed to strengthen awareness of gender equality, inclusivity, and gender-responsive practices, reaffirming WCSAT's commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and equitable learning environment for all.

A million thanks to the Schools Division Office of Cagayan for the robotics kits and equipment provided to our STE Program. ✨

These resources will greatly support our Robotics classes and provide our learners with more opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, and innovation.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to everyone involved in receiving and facilitating this support, especially our STE Coordinator, Ma’am Ethel N. Urian , and School Principal, Ma'am Excelsis G. Pastor.
