Elian’s race in the Grand Finals of the SM Series was definitely not an easy one—it was very challenging for him. 🥹

The first elimination round went well, but during the second elimination, the rain suddenly poured hard. 🌧️ It was Elian’s first time racing in such a wet environment, and I could really see how uncomfortable he was. His shorts, knee pads, and shoes were soaking wet, and he seemed to have a hard time running properly. Maybe the water puddles distracted him too, or maybe the raindrops hurts his eyes and eventually, he lost his focus.

So instead of worrying about the race, he just played around and enjoyed the moment. 😅❤️

At the finish line, I told him, “Wala ka nang run kasi hindi ikaw umabot.”

I was stunned when he simply replied, “It’s okay, Mommy. 🙂”

Paano ka pa maf-frustrate sa gano’ng reply? 😂 At ayun na naman… lumambot ang puso ni Mommy. 🥹❤️

Maybe the race didn’t go the way we wanted, but seeing him stay positive and simply say, “It’s okay,” reminded us that sometimes, it’s not about winning—it’s about learning, enjoying, and getting back up for the next race. ❤️🏁
