Happy Pride Month from LPSci Barkada Kontra Droga! 🏳️‍🌈

This June, during Pride Month, we pay tribute not just to the vibrant, strong, and diverse LGBTQ+ community but also to their many contributions in drug prevention and awareness campaign efforts worldwide as well as locally here in the Philippines.

People from the LGBTQ+ have been leading the way in promoting health education, and peer support programs over the years that have greatly improved lives. We are constantly inspired by their bravery in breaking down stereotypes, creating safe spaces for open conversations about drug prevention and mental health, and breaking down barriers. 🤍

LPSci BKD proudly dedicate this month to recognizing and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community's efforts in creating a safer, healthier, and more compassionate environments for all. We now can more clearly imagine and follow a path of a drug-free, empowered future in which everyone is safe from harm and discrimination, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation because of them.

Let's all keep celebrating diversity, advocating for inclusivity, and working together towards an empowered community. 💖✨
