Our Valentine’s celebration was a beautiful reminder that learning in the early years goes beyond academics. It is also about connection, belonging, and emotional growth.
Through shared experiences with families, children had opportunities to:
• express love and appreciation in age appropriate ways
• practise kindness, empathy, and gentle communication
• feel secure and confident with familiar adults and peers
• strengthen emotional bonds through shared moments
When children create alongside their parents, receive affirming words, and see love modelled through action, they begin to understand how relationships work. These moments support the development of emotional awareness, trust, and positive self identity.
At EduDash, celebrations are intentionally designed to nurture Social Emotional Development. We create safe spaces where children feel seen, valued, and connected not only to their teachers, but to their families and community as well.
