Happy Philippine Independence Day! 🇵🇭✨

June 12 isn’t just a date in a history book—it’s a daily reminder. True freedom isn't just celebrated; it’s an everyday practice!

Inspired by AASHPI’s vision of "Independence in Practice," here is how we can all champion freedom and build empowering spaces in our workplaces, schools, and communities every single day:

🤝 Uphold Dignity – Value every individual and treat everyone with unwavering respect.
⚖️ Ensure Fairness – Lead with justice, equity, and transparency in all that we do.
🌱 Empower People – Lift each other up, promote growth, and cheer on lifelong learning.
🤗 Build Inclusion – Embrace diversity and make sure everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
🏫 Strengthen Community – Collaborate and partner up to achieve a meaningful, shared impact.

This Independence Day, let’s look beyond the flags and fireworks. True freedom is built on people-centered choices, ethical leadership, and a culture of deep trust.

How are you practicing freedom in your community today?

Two sessions. One full day. Endless takeaways. ✅

Last May 29, AASHPI brought together over 70 HR practitioners and school leaders for a day of practical, high-impact learning.

📌 Morning of Expert Briefing: Atty. Ana Maria "Ada" D. Abad walked us through the latest Supreme Court rulings on employee separation: retirement, resignation, constructive dismissal, and everything in between. The kind of session every school HR office needs.

📌 Afternoon of Actionable Approaches: Ms. Fedelita Dublin of Ateneo de Davao University and Fr. Renato Tampol, SVD, President of Divine Word College of Calapan, shared real, actionable practices for managing school resources, building resilient teams, and keeping institutions stable when disruptions hit.

This is what AASHPI is about: equipping school HR practitioners with knowledge that actually matters.
