📣 To kickstart our Wellness Nook, we have Acquaintance Party! This is the time for IB1s and IB2s to spend time with each other and deepen our bonds with one-another.

From 3-5pm, February 6, 2023, we will be enjoying each other's company in the Tropical Gym.

The activities include:

🧧 The council wishes you a Happy Lunar New Year, and that may it be filled with time well spent with relatives to celebrate with all your traditions.

Here's what the Year of the Tiger symbolizes :🐯

The Chinese Zodiac 🧧dates back to the Qin Dynasty over 2000 years ago and is rooted in a system of zoolatry (or animal worship). As the legend goes, the Jade Emperor 🤴 challenged all the animals in the Kingdom to a “Great Race.” Whoever arrived at his palace first would win his favor. The Tiger 🐅 was sure that he had the race in the bag, but ended up placing third after the cunning Rat 🐀 and workhorse Ox 🐂 snuck in ahead of him. Thus, Tigers are extremely competitive people, known for their courage and ambition. Tigers are ambitious, but they’re also extremely generous with a drive to help others. Tigers want to win but they’re also always seeking justice.

We are proud to present the official details and information for the upcoming programme. The long awaited O.W.L. [Online Workshop for Leaders] event is nearing closer by the second.⏳

We are not calling student leaders, but instead the leaders of tomorrow. A community is formed, not only by the leaders who take a stand, but by the people who they represent.

The goal of O.W.L. is to nurture and evolve your skills, and to form bonds that will last you a lifetime!

: Shaping the future movers of society 🌿

In collaboration with the BasicEd Student Council, we would like to invite all class officers, club leaders and student leaders to join our Online Workshop for Leaders (O.W.L. Programme) for its second year round.

This workshop takes place on February 2, 2022 where we aim you to explore your self-identity and express it in your leadership through interactions with other student leaders, and introduce necessary leadership skills to help students become the future movers of society.
