Another School Year will pass not until the day we our all preparing for. Once again let us support our Corps of Cadets on our Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2019 that will be held at the Lapu-Lapu City College Main campus Gun-ob LLC. The 7th Regional Community Defense Center will conduct the inspection on March 18, 2019, Monday OOA 1200h. We will be very grateful of your presence and witness what are the results of our sweats.

Congratulations to the First Commission Officer in regular force of Lapu-Lapu City College ROTC Unit 2Lt Angelo Calolot PA. He graduated last March 14, 2019 O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, Training and Doctrine Command Officer Candidate School (OCS) together with fifty (50) Second Lieutenants through the Officer Preparatory Course (OPC) Class of 69-2018 “Himaglahi”. 2Lt Calolot finished his Bachelors Degree @ Lapu-Lapu City College with a degree of BS in Industrial Technology major in Electronics batch 2014-2015. He is also the third Corps Commander of the unit and serve also as an instructor after graduating advance course. While pursuing his dreams he also have a buddy which his classmate and his S1/adjutant, 2Lt Winston Dungog who is the first commission officer in reserve force through POTC before 2Lt Calolot graduate the course. It may be a exchage of seniority in their achievements they never stop chasing their dreams now 2Lt dungog is an Enlisted personnel in the regular force. Also 2Lt Calolot have a younger brother in the regular force Pfc Daniel Calolot serving in Philippine Army Engineering Brigade.

We are proud of you Sir and God bless to your career.

CAPAS TARLAC – In line of the efforts to recruit capable and competent Army leaders for the attainment of its mission, the Philippine Army’s Training and Doctrine Command Officer Candidate School (OCS) under the tactful leadership of Major General Roy T. Devesa produced fifty one (51) Second Lieutenants through the Officer Preparatory Course (OPC) Class of 69-2018 “Himaglahi” after they were declared graduates this morning, March 14, 2019 during their graduation ceremony at OCS Mess Hall, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac with Secretary of National Defense Honorable Delfin N. Lorenzana as the guest of honor and speaker. Also present to witness the ceremony were Lieutenant General Macairog S. Alberto, Commanding General Philippine Army, Major General Rizaldo B. Limoso, Vice Commander, Philippine Army and Brigadier General Maxima O. Ignacio, the AFP Adjutant General.

The top three graduates are Second Lieutenant Mark Anthony G. Mahicon, Second Lieutenant Ramil T. Caasi and Second Lieutenant Rionne J Genosolanggao. Furthermore, Second Lieutenant Rowel Ventura received the physical proficiency award while Second Lieutenant Ronie C. Galla received the leadership award.

The fifty one (51) new and dynamic second lieutenants are now ready to start their career as military officers after finishing six month of extensive and rigorous training which equipped them the right attitude, knowledge and skills.

Moreover, the Philippine Army continue to pursue its recruitment efforts and augment the needed number of competent officers through Army's Officer Preparatory Course (OPC) and Officer Candidate Course (OCC).

from right to left pioneering/first Corps Commander of LLCCRu former Cdt/Col Gerald Alquizalas (S.Y. 2010-2013) and the two siblings former Cdt/Col Bel chielou Cabajar (S.Y. 2014-2015) and her brother former Cdt/Col. Ryan Cabajar (S.Y. 2016-2017)

They volunteered to be one of the personnel of 701st CDC Bn for crowd control in the first visit of Señor Sto Niño in Lapu-Lapu City.
